GT: Warriors @ Suns (7:00 PM My 45)

Post#1 » by MaryvalesFinest » Sat Jan 23, 2010 11:15 pm

Summary: With Ellis being out and having two d-leaguers in their lineup this is a 99.9% guranteed win for the Suns, is that a good thing or a bad thing though? The good is they win a game of course but the bad is does this just keep up with the status quo?

Suns

C-Lopez
PF-Amare
SF-Hill
SG-Jay or Barbosa
PG-Nash

Warriors

Beidrins, Maggette, Curry and two d-leaguers

Keys to the game

-Is management really going to use this game as a measuring stick considering Ellis is out and their starting two d-leaguers?

-Will the Suns play to win or coast through the game win or lose?

-*If* the Suns do lose this one what excuses are the players going to make?

Well the game starts in less than three hours and no one made a thread, if you think you can do better why don't you make one?

Monta's out so Nash wont get abused. Suns 118-108. If we lose i think Kerr makes a move by Monday.

I wanna see how Lopez can do on the boards against Biedrins.

It would also be nice if we won, but who knows that anymore.

Leandro Barbosa will not play tonight. He is meeting w/doctor, Kerr & staff on a decision to drain his wrist's swelling or have surgery

Suns doctor in closed door mtg w Gentry and Kerr. LB surgery likely being discussed

The drainage doesn't take long, but if he's going to have surgery then this will probably keep him out for a month or two(my guess).

Ah got it.

What does our likely rotation at guard look like without Barbs at all?

Likely:
Nash 32
Dragic 18
JRich 32
Duds 14

Wishful:
Nash 30
Dragic 23
JRich 27
Duds 16

??

Although putting Duds at SG for that many minutes, we need him for more at SF or use EC more..so maybe more of those minutes go to Dragic

Barbosa to have surgery out 4 weeks per Coro. Thank god hope he gets well. Why not have surgery when he already was out this year. This will give him time to rehab and be able to shoot again.
