Why I have hope

As crazy as it may sound, this Jazz loss gives me hope. Without two of their key players, the Suns went into one of the toughest arenas in the Association and had a 17-point lead late in the third.
They show time and time again they are capable of playing with, if not beating, the best teams in the league. It's just, whereas in the first month they maintained their level of play for much of the game, they now have huge letdowns.

If they can somehow figure out how to string it together for a full -- or close to a full -- 48, they can still be a good team. I hope that someone can solve the riddle.

ENOUGH moral victory BS.

You would think they would make the adjustments to stop blowing leads after the second or third blown lead. Isn't this like the 15th time or something? It's sad.

This seems to come up often after loses. Only victory should be a good game where we win.

The chances of them figuring it out is probably zero.

This wasn't a moral victory, but I don't know why, but I'm just not angered by this collapse. And believe me, I am usually upset after a loss of any kind

Exactly. And if they can figure it out, like they seemed to have over the first month of the season, they can still be a good team.

+ 10000000000000000
and the bad decision of gentry to go along with clark too long at the end of the third quarter.

This is basically the last straw. Winning this game might have convinced Kerr to go with this group and ride the season, but losing this way will surely force him to make a move. Amare and Jason Richardson are the likely key trade pieces. Barbosa not so much since he's injured, I doubt they use him as a throw because he'll get significantly less value being injured and struggling.

This is not on the refs. Yes, they might have called the game in the Jazz's favor down the stretch, but the Suns flat-out stopped balling over the final 15 minutes. Refs don't blow a 17-point lead in half a quarter

Doesn't make a difference, winning the game is what counts.

Suns need some inspiration. And when everything else fails. Turn to Disney for the answer.

All it takes is one song. At the beginning, they are horrible, but at the end, they are amazing!!

Moral victories don't win championships.

We can't hold a 20 point lead worth anything. I think it's concerning to have a 30 point swing in less than a quarter of play. Lack of effort/focus/dedication is the only cause for such a lapse.

I no longer trust any lead under 30 points.
