Steve Nash

Is there any reason to keep Nash here at this point? I know many would like to hold on to him for sentimental reasons but this team is going nowhere fast. I personally think it is definitely time to admit defeat and start afresh. I'm losing interest and it is hard to watch what is happening.
Many argue that you can't blow it up when you don't own a pick, however, that pick is a sunk cost and should not impact current decision making.

Unless we get good value for him, we should keep him. He's still one of the best PGs in the league.

well arguably by trading nash and amare now(and sticking richardson somewhere in one of these trades), we can get some pieces and a couple first round picks, so yes, we can pretty start rebuilding now.

They should work out an Amare trade first since he can easily walk this summer, get an Amare deal done before Feb 18th and focus on trading Nash this summer.

Nash is the #1 PG in the NBA. Without Nash, the Suns are a 25ish/30ish win team, no playoff hopes at all for at least the next 3 years. Call me impatient but we still have a playoff/finals run in us if we'd trade J-Rich and Clark for something useful.

I'm basically asking for someone to convince me of why we shouldn't blow it up. I'm not finding any reasons not to at this point. As high as I was 17 games through the season, I am equally low at this point. It is clear what this team as constructed is capable of, and I personally would rather see the youth movement if we are going to be a <.500 team.

First off, your Clark argument is old and useless. Secondly, you proved my point exactly by saying that without Nash this is a 25-30 win team, if the season had started at game 18, isn't that the run rate that they are shooting for already.

Is this what happens if you got selected as all-star starter? LAMO

Nash is a top 5 PG. Not #1. If you take him over CP3 then the jokes on you.

Can't you see how much Dragic is learning by playing behind Nash? Nash is the instructor for the youth movement.
Also, not everyone on the team sucks. Just JRich and Amare. So the only smart move is to find the best trade for those two and then see what happens.

I say we trade him because he doesn't deserve to suffer like this. Send him to the Cavs/Lakers/Nuggets/Mavs/Celts/Magic for a chance to earn a ring. He has so much pressure on this team.

Amare doesn't suck. J-Rich does, Frye is streaky, Hill was out, Barbs is hurt, and Clark just flat-out stinks. If anyone needs to be traded, it's JRich and Clark -- because they have noe xcuses.

Last I looked Clark was a raw rookie. But I am sure the only thing that matters to you is his name Earl Clark.

I'll take Eddie Johnson's or Tom Chambers assessment before I listen to your BS talk. Provide some substance behind your argument and I might listen. However, all you every say is "Earl Clark is stinky like tha doody" and it is tarded. Rookies on winning teams (albeit a winning record for a losing team) take longer to develop, that's just how it works dude.

Earl Clark has played about 10mpg in 30ish games. If he hasn't show any sign of talent or brilliance in that time, we have to ship him out while his "perceived" value is still high. Dude ain't a fit for us, nor is he anything more than a roleplayer who plays 10 to 15 off the bench. That, which we don't need. we've got plenty of better players than him, who deserve PT ahead of his scrub ass.

Dude my facts come from his stats and his impact when he's in the game. That's all I need.
What's your proof that he'll be a legit player? Where is his talent? Nowhere.

I would do this trade, prefer to get Gortat in return instead of Pietrus/Anderson though.
