I came here to ask about this.
How would you guys feel about that and what do you think Arizona would give up in the trade?

I'd rather they just waited to see what Lienart can do. The Cards' roster as a whole isn't so old that they need to rush out and get another great quarterback so they can try to make the super bowl again. There's some room to grow into a new quarterback.

Re: OT: Kurt Warner retires
You have faith in Leinart? I think he blows big time, straight bust and I mean that as no offense or jab, it's just my honest opinion.
I am actually an Eagles fan, that is why I am interested in the opinion of all you Cards fans.
Edit: You know, maybe I am being way too harsh on him. I thought he had more starts under his belt then he does and truthfully, most of them came in his rookie season.
Maybe he does deserve his shot for a season or two?

I don't think his body of work is enough to tell. He did fine in the Tennessee game.
Either way, I don't think we need to go for McNabb, who's on the downward slope of his career.

Yeah, I just edited my post as you were posting this. I think I agree. Leinart probably deserves his shot for a season or two and you make a good point that the rest of the roster is young enough to grow together.
McNabb is getting up there in age himself and although he looked quite good this last season, he is surely going to start his decline soon.

McNabb to Fitz! Touchdown!!! Nah but AZ would have to give up their 1st, Boldin and maybe a 2nd. But no question McNabb would be an upgrade over Leinart. Don't see Philly trading McNabb though.

Eagles don't need Boldin, with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.

It would give an unproven Philly QB another weapon on offense. Boldin has 1 year left worth 3 mil. That's very reasonable, still don't see it happening.

Maclin and Jackson are almost the same player, both small fast guys. Q would bring a whole other element to that passing attack.

Figured you'd be a little more estatic about this Mary since you bashed him earlier this season in favor of Leinart. I'd love to have McNabb here but I hope if it is Leinart time that we get a quality veteran back up such as Jeff Garcia.
As Long as we don't bring in Mike Vick!! I'm all for 2nd chances and glad he's received one... I just don't want him on my team!

Mike Vick would actually make a good backup

He would as a player... but I can't bring myself to routing for him as a member of the cards. Just can't do it.

Might need Vick as a starter.
