I'm getting some traction with these ideas at the other boards. Sounds like we're close to a deal, from a fan's standpoint. So, give me a yea or nay on these two please:

1. Phoenix Gets: Iggy, JJ Hickson
Philadelphia Gets: Ilgauskas, Daniel Green, CLE 2011 1st round pick (lotto protected), CLE 2010 2nd round pick (via PHX), PHX 1st round pick in 2012 (lotto protected)
Cleveland Gets: Stoudemire

2. Phoenix Gets: Iggy, JJ Hickson, Dalembert
Philadelphia Gets: Ilgauskas, Daniel Green, Jason Richardson, CLE 1st round pick in 2011 (lotto protected)
Cleveland Gets: Stoudemire

Dragic, Lopez, Clark and Duds should not be included in any deal period. I would rather resign Amare than get rid of those guys. The are playing a hughe part with our team. The Suns have two old guys, Nash and Hill. We are relatively a young team, so 27-21 isn't bad at all when you factor in 5 recently blown games.

Yay on 1, nay on 2. I'd rather let Richardson expire next year than take on Dalembert. Trade 1 is just fine for me, though.

Yes, Phoenix is considering taking on Brand or Dalembert's contract, if it includes the 1st rounder.

I don't really get your point, how exactly would we take on Dalemberts contract when we could only give you Jason Richardson in return who has about the same contract?

I'd accept no picks in return is we get Iggy + Hickson.

like i said a 3 team deal just makes so much sense

We are not giving up 1st rd picks in any deal.....That is what we got into all this amare trade crap to get back man... remember? 2 rd picks... ok Iggy, hell yes. Id rather let Hickson go to Phi and get Speights. If deal includes Brand or Dally... WE SHOULD GET a 1ST RD PICK IF NOT 2!!!

It won't happen. Philly won't take just expirings for Iggy and Phoenix won't give up picks to make an Amare for Iguodala swap happen.

Cleveland doesn't make any sense as the third team because other teams can offer better packages for Amare like Miami even if they don't include Beasley.

Amare seems unhappy Kerr is shopping him

I've been thinking about this Brand thing for a long time.

While a Nash/Iggy/Hill/Brand/Lopez lineup seems pretty okay, would it be enough to make a serious push in the West? I don't think so. So then at that point....why do that trade when it completely cripples you financially? It's not really a "rebuilding" trade, since Iggy and that first rounder are the only young pieces you get out of it. I mean, as a fan who wants to continue to win as much as we can, I like adding Brand and Iggy in place of Amare and Richardson, but I don't think it would be good for the long-term future of the franchise. I think we'd still be mired in the "maybe good enough to get past the first round" type of phase, where we're just not good enough to win the championship but not bad enough to get a lottery pick.

I'd do Amare/Jay for Igoudala/Brand straight up, with no picks involved

It would be lotto-protected, though, which is fine for me.

And the other thing....I think BH asked it in the last thread, but why are the Sixers trying to move Iggy? Shouldn't they be trying to build around him? What do they know that we don't?

If you exclude all of our picks and throw in more Cleveland picks. Just replace Cleveland with Miami as the third team.
