This year, when healthy... I'll start off:
1. Chris Paul (Best overall PG statistics on a bad team, dominates every category, un-guardable)
2. Deron Williams (Overpowers every opposing PG, carries Utah)
3. Steve Nash (Best court vision in the NBA. In the right system a top 15 player)
4. Rajon Rondo (Top 3 defender in the NBA, leads league in steals, shoots 53%, triple-dub threat every night.
5. Derrick Rose (Most athletic PG in the NBA, only 20 years old, will become improved shooter)
6. Tony Parker (Quick, good defender, can score and dominates the Suns)
7. Chauncey Billups (Does everything well, physical PG)
8. Monta Ellis (For Mary, best scoring PG in the league)
9. Jason Kidd (Old but still great, future Hall of Famer)
10. Aaron Brooks (Tiny but dominates, quick as lightning)

Evans isn't a point guard.

Yeah he's more of a combo. That's why i left guys like him and Arenas off. Even Westbrook wasn't a PG in college.

Derrick Rose is the next Steve Francis to me.
Give me players than incorporate what a PG should truly be..
Paul
Nash
Williams
Rondo
Billups
Kidd
Everyone else is just masquerading as a PG or not worth mentioning. Jury still out on Brandon Jennings.

1. Chris Paul - No question, best PG in the game right now.
2. Deron Williams - 2nd best in the game, overpowering, have all the qualities of a top PG.
3. Steve Nash - still the best shooter in the game, best court vision and passing. slight decline in game
4. Chauncey Billups - changed culture in Denver, makes big shots, excellent leader
5. Derrick Rose - potential is there, already good but could be better, not playing PG as well as I would've liked, will continue to improve.
6. Rajon Rondo - Could be the best defensive guard in the game, best defensive PG, court vision, trip-dub threat nightly.
7. Jason Kidd - still an excellent PG, shooting career high 3PT%, helps his team win games.
8. Tony Parker - not your typical pass first PG, but is an excellent fit on an unselfish Spurs team, quickest PG
9. Brandon Jennings - Already a good play maker, scoring has dropped since his record-breaking start
10. Baron Davis, Tyreke Evans, Monta Ellis, Aaron Brooks - debatable.

"Slight decline"
The guy has slowed down and I wouldn't doubt it would be hard to see by the average Nash fan boy. It's not all about his numbers, his passes aren't as crisp and he's making more TO's he used to rarely make, his defense has gotten worse and he is 35 or 36 already, he can't be playing as well as he used to be. Everyone makes the argument that guys like Ellis are putting up great numbers on a bad team but you have to consider that Nash is in a similar situation, albeit not as bad.
If it wasn't for his decline, I would still have him as no. 2, but who cares what I think, he's still a top PG in the league and he's in my top 3.

1.) deron
2.) billups
3.) paul
4.) rose
5.) nash
6.) parker
7.) rondo / rose / kidd
if cp3 was the top point guard he would run his hornets team better. they have okafor, west, posey, peja. they are a playoff caliber team and imo paul is a drama queen. but i would like him to replace nash in the future. if i would have the choice between deron and cp3 i´d prefer deron.

I think this is an interesting perspective, because most people are very quick to put CP3 at the top of their list. But I agree that New Orleans has had its ups and downs with him at the helm.
I guess I would have to say that you can't necessarily see anything too special in the roster this season other than West and an Okafor experiment that hasn't worked too well. But an argument could be made that with Nash, no matter who you put next to them he will improve that player.
All in all, I still would put CP3 at the top but as the years go on, Deron could prove to be better at playing winning basketball.

I might put chirs paul above nash but to me thats still tough..nash is a better shooter and better passer.
paul is quicker better on defense and gets more steals and can prolly attack the rim better although i think nash can abuse just about anyone
