I like the idea of getting both of MIA's picks. That one could be used as trade sweetener and cash to pay the tax in another trade.

The Suns are going to pass on the Cavs trade, then BronBron will be pissed at the Cavs' lack of effort after they are bounced from the playoffs by an Amare-led Miami Heat, and he'll bolt in the summer.

The Miami Heat have failed to recruit the Charlotte Bobcats as a third team in trade talks for Amar’e Stoudemire(notes), league sources said. The discussions centered on Charlotte taking on Udonis Haslem(notes) in a deal, but the price ultimately made no sense for them.

It would’ve possibly opened the door for Miami to deal Jermaine O’Neal(notes) to the Suns and take back both Stoudemire and Jason Richardson(notes). The Suns have tried to include Richardson, who will make $14.4 million next season, in packages with Stoudemire.

If Amare goes to Miami, I'd love for Riley to step up as coach. That would be interesting.

Wow!!! 6th Thread on Amare trade. You would think this is a Knicks or Raptors board. If this was trade talks about Tim Duncan they would still be on Thread 1. lol

the drool face is awesome...

On another note. JJ might have upside. I think he'll be great. But really, if we end up getting 2 picks and Beasley, and trade Beasley on draft day, I'd rather take 3 chances on 3 unproven players rather than 1 chance on 1 unproven player. Say we take Greg Monroe/Demarcus Cousins and Gani Lawal. Both have plenty of potential. Chances are 1 of them turn into an above average player

This is a sensible post, Im so tired of people saying hickson is trash when they havent even watched him play. I was actually for hickson over beasly but if miami is throwing in 2 picks sign me up.

damn sounds like no beaz

still ill take the 2 mid 1st rounders and not be in lynching mode

really hoping for b-easy though i have no idea how him and amare would function next to each other anyways

offensively great but heat would have the worst interior d and rebounding in the league

I think everyone needs to calm down a bit with the whole beasley Hicksen debate.

Both trades could both happen still
