Two Things -- Should be Addressed

#1 I hope Suns waive Richardson, or trade him before 1PM tomorrow. I'd take a cash deal. Start Barbs when he's back. Package Earl Clark w/ him.

#2 Amare will be traded, it will be a deal out of the blue since everyone else bailed on us.

I'm ashamed, and embarrassed to be a Suns fan right now.

never was much to be a pessimistic guy but seriously, at least we aren't the nets.

1. Starting Barbosa is fine, but our defense would be horrible. Barbosa's shot will be better, but Jrich's post game is a bonus we need. Trading Jrich is smarter than waving him.

2. Amare isn't going anywhere. If he is, trade everyone in the whole organization... from Nash to Tom Leander.

There's nothing to be ashamed about. If Amare leaves, then you can be ashamed.

id go with number one but for number two, i rather see if we can still lock him down long term just see if nash or someone can get amare to realize he isn't exactly worth max at the moment.

What prompted this? I'm generally good at picking up the brainwaves but I don't see why you're so upset :/?

Even when Amare is beasting we're 1 and done. I hope Kerr doesn't get brainswashed by a few wins in Febuary to not make a move for our future.

Our future is now, with Stat and Nash. Trading a young talent (27yo Stat) for some garbage that will develop after Nash is signed, isn't worth it.

@rsavaj: I'm so upset by our unwillingness to adapt. Jrich keeps shooting his lame contested shots. He's a burst scorer, not a reliable scorer. He thinks if he keeps chucking, it's ok regardless. It's not. If he's not in rhythm, he shuould say "hey im not feeling it, sub me out, play duds for defense" or something.

For Stat... he sat way too long it felt like tonight. He should have banked all 48 minutes tonight tbh.

What future ?! If our future lies in Chalmer, Cook, and a 1st round pick...then i'd rather not have one...LOL

I'd much rather be the Nets right now. Brook Lopez, Devin Harris, Yi and some nice young pieces...likely the 1 or 2 pick in this draft..

The reason he keeps chucking is because Gentry has too much trust in his players. This isn't necessarily a bad thing (see Goran Dragic) but it has its repercussions. It's up to Gentry to define JRich's role. Personally, I think he's best suited posting up smaller guards or slashing to the basket. If his jump shot is on, pass him the ball and let him iso/chuck away.

Lol, no way Jrich ever says that. It's like having Channing Frye saying "Hey coach, I'm feeling beastly today. Let me post up Mike Bibby."

ok hunter you just don't get it. We're not a contender. We're not winning a title. Nash and Amare are the reason we lose as much as the reason we win. They play no defense which kills us. Trading clark is moronic look what happened at people who gave up on Lopez and Dragic last year. They're doing well this year. Clark will be the same but better I think. You're thinking this is 2008 or something or 2007 when we had a chance. This team is a mirage I firmly believe it. J rich is too inconsistent Amare is playing above what he does on the boards and Hill is getting old. If we had rudy gay instead of Hill I'd think we could contend or even if we had caron butler instead of hill starting.

This team should try to keep Amare extend for like 12 mil a year or 13 mil a year dump J rich I agree for anything they can get so his salary comes off the books so we can sign somebody this offseason. I'd get rid of Barbosa too for a 1st round pick.

agreed. barbs would be the only way we can get a 1st rounder. no one is gonna want to take on jrich.

I actually thought J-Rich played pretty well tonight (other than the 4 TOs)... The problem tonight was defensive rebounding in the 4th quarter. I think we have some very good pieces, i just don't think that Gentry knows the best combinations. Frye and Amare cannot play together. There is not enough defense/rebounding. Amare/Lopez works, and Amundson/Frye works. I was disappointed to see Gentry put back in all of the starters late in the 4th quarter. The starters spent 3 quarters building a big deficit, and the 2nd unit got us back in the game with their hustle, good defense, and rebounding. They deserved to keep playing. Dragic, Dudley, Amundson got taken out for nash, grant hill, and lopez. I'd probably bring nash back in... but the drop off in the hustle and rebounding was SO obvious for those last 4 minutes. a line up of nash/dragic/dudley/amare/amundson would have been great or even going small with nash/dragic/j-rich/dudley/amare would have been nice too. It was just very disappointing...

can we trade hunterxaz so we dont have to read these lame rants??

Trading Amare for garbage is not a smart idea. Waiving JRich when he has another year left is braindead like most of your ideas. Sarver would have to drop like 20+ mil in the buyout, or if he is just waived, that contract stays with us. Shoot, even saying clark needs to be traded is dumb. What are we going to get for him? You are not going to see much time when there are two players at both the 3 and 4 spot ahead of him as a rookie. Patience young one, patience

I don't think there's really much to be embarassed of
Having a bad GM and a horrible owner isn't our fault, and it's not like we could do anything about it

If we trade Amar'e for nobody. I'll just stop keeping track of PHX
Not that I'm going to jump ship, since I'll aways be a PHX fan and I'll always want the team to win a championship, but I'll just start focusing on contenders like Spurs or Magicor maybe even the Mavs
You'll have to root for a team in the finals, right? And you sure don't want to watch your fav team fall to ashes
