Deron Williams

Post#1 » by KLEON » Sun Feb 21, 2010 5:47 am

Heard he was upset that Ronnie Brewer got traded and he thinks that the team got worse. I heard he's also thinking about leaving. I'm a huge fan of this guy and I would love to see him in a Suns jersey. I think he's the perfect replacement for Nash since his contract with the Jazz expires in 2012. I know some of you might be saying Dragic is going to replace Nash but I see Dragic as more of a back up PG. I also hope Kerr doesn't get an extension and Sarver sells the team to someone who cares about winning. What do you people think?

can the suns offer a competitive for deron? I mean If the suns youngsters can develop further I think phx may be attractive to deron. u have to know too that Mehmet, Booze, and AK47 are going to leave. At least 1 of those 3. He is really pissed at FO so it could happen. I think finding a PF that can be at the same caliber as amare is an even bigger pipe dream. U know what sarver extended Diaw after he had that big season. Sarver extended Amare couple years ago. he took shaq's contract. he is inclined to sign players to help the suns win. he just didnt want to resign trix and Amare because they do not deserve the contract that they are asking. Steve is retiring here and so is grant.

Think he will have to wait a while if he wants to leave and doubt the Jazz would trade him.

Earl Clark can play point guard, he's Magic Johnson without the offense.

Why talk about someone who isn't FA until 2012 the earliest, more likely 2013....

At that point he will be 28 or 29.. no thanks. Who knows how our roster looks like in 2012? We should have 2 lottery picks by then at least on our team.

Wow that would be a dream come true. Maybe he'll request a trade... Nash + 2011 1st straight up.

We signed Nash when he was like, 30.

I also like that Lebron and Chris Bosh guy. Maybe we can get them here as well.

27-31 are usually considered prime years anyway, I actually think Deron is the best PG in the NBA.

Phoenix is a huge FA destination, so I'd never put it past anyone. BUT, do people want to work under Sarver/Kerr? They might be killing our FA attractiveness.

I would not be surprised if a guy like Williams or Paul sign here when their contract is up, especially considering our great PG lineage.

i have loved our point guards over the years but we need to invest in small guards or small forwards that can score and assist well. most championship teams have been led by players in these positions.

much love to kerrsed for this masterpiece.

championship teams have players that dominate in the perimeter and another player that can dominate the post. I think once the suns finds a player that can dominate the post and find another player that can dominate the perimeter then a championship should be in our hands soon.

Sign and Trade Amar'e for Deron! :) I'll easily hand Kerr the GM Of The Year Award if he gets that done :)

We still have the #1 PG in the NBA, but D-Will would be a good option in 2 or 3 years... but who knows what we could land by then.
