Of the four top teams in the West, which team would you rather face in the first round?

Hopefully we don't play you guys in the first round. Suns-Mavs games are my second favorite matchup, and I think we'd have a competitive series. I'd actually rather not play any of those four teams, but if I had to choose, it would be Utah.

Not the Mavs they're ballin got a great trade for Haywood and Butler and will probably be in the western conference finals against the Lakers. First round I want to face the Denver Nuggets then the Utah Jazz then the Mavericks then the Lakers. Nuggets inconsistencies are concerning for them it seems JR smith can be thrown off his game Birdman isnt' healthy and Nene has disappeared. Our zone d threw them off.

I hope we get oklahoma city first round though maybe a 3 vs. 6 matchup

You know some of the other boards think that ya'll may overtake the Jazz for the fourth position. That way, at least you guys would have home court.

4th seed and 5th seeds are 2nd round death sentences essentially neither team is beating the Lakers in a 7 game series with that mini all star team.

I'd want the 3rd or 6th seed.

I think Amare would dominate the Jazz and that Dudley could do a solid job on D Will same with J rich

I don't think it matters.

Besides the Lakers all the other teams in the Western Conference playoff picture are about even IMO. Western Conference playoffs will have more than one upset I think this year because of the parity.

Suns are the best darkhorse team and they will def knock off someone come playoff time if healthy.

We'll see chris if this team is just peaking right now and will continue this type of play. Remember we have over a month left I almost wish the playoffs started because we're playing great basketball right now.

Barbosa is needed if we want to make a push in the west. He has to fit in and fit in well because he'll be able to score in the playoffs. Dragic and Lopez and Frye I'm not so sure about.

any team as long as jrich doesnt have to play defense... we need him to score, and when he has to play against the best guards like kobe, he just loses his offense while he isnt effective on defense as well.

you may laugh but he is actually a key for the suns success.

Definitely the Jazz.

I like our chances against the Spurs or Denver.

Utah can be beat. They don't have the depth of the Mavs nor the starting 5 of the Lakers. I'd like to play the Spurs as well, I don't think they have what it takes to last 7 games.

I guess I'd take Utah, because I think either of the other teams would totally dominate us (4-1 or something)

Honestly, outside of the Lakers I think our guys can bring it to most any other team.

And even then... if we had to play the Lakers, I wouldn't mind. It would be a great series and I honestly think we have a great advantage over their bench.

I'm not saying these guys are the "Sunderella" Suns by any stretch... I'm just excited about rolling into the playoffs with the great style of play that we've had lately.

man, i realy would love to face the nuggets. i think we are always looking good against them. i wouldn´t mind dallas either, they made some good moves but have to build up chemistry in that short time. so if you wanna be the best you gotta beat the best. harharhahr

I'll take Denver, Blazers, Thunder, Spurs, Jazz, Mavs, Lakers. In that order of most favorite to play to least favorite.

My logic is if you can't beat them in the regular season how can you beat them in the playoffs. So with that said....

Against DAL 1-2
Against DEN 2-1
Against LAL 1-2
Against OKC 1-1
Against POR 0-2
Against SA 1-1
Against UTA 0-1

Dallas, Lakers and Portland would give us trouble. Aside from that we should be able to handle anyone else.

Portland won't be a problem. We had a different rotation system against them the first two times. Now we are starting Lopez which can make a difference.

Um....none of them? Haha.

Denver would be tough b/c Chauncey would exploit Nash and we can't guard Carmelo.
Utah has repeatedly owned us in the regular season for the past few years.
Dallas(IMO) is the 2nd best team in the West now with Haywood and Butler.
LA is LA.

Meh....Denver I guess.
