A few weeks ago i thought we should've traded this guy for breadcrumbs but now i realize that 'when healthy' the guy can fill it up. Love the post-up game and rebounding.
If he keeps this up he'll be very attractive to teams this off-season ecspecially with that expiring contract. hmm what to do what to do.....

you should change your sig to the blown dunk attempt.

Its not really when he's healthy. He's finally finding his role on the team. He used to just chuck away but now he is driving, posting up, rebounding, and getting a few free throws. I actually enjoy watching all of our players now.

I'm having mixed emotions about him, sometimes he does stupid **** like missing dunks and getting blocked on dunks (eg. DirtyDez's sig) but I do like him sometimes but thats only when he has a good game. I think we can get a far more consistent player by trading him, hopefully we can trade him this off-season.

I've always wanted to keep him, but I was getting pretty down on him earlier this season.
Now he's playing great and he is part of the reason this team is looking like a top team again.
But I still can't forgive him for what he did against the Spurs. Not yet. Too fresh still.

lol i wonder how fast everyone's tune changes when he misses another easy dunk

I said it even after he missed the dunk. The Suns are cursed when they face the Spurs. So I didn't really blame him. Now if it were against any other team, I probably would have been angry.

gotta give him credit after being heavily critized. he's come out strong after the allstar break. very solid numbers. we're gonna need this type of play to make a playoff run. wish he would have made that dunk though!

It's not the missed dunks. It's the overall knuckleheadedness of his game. He's dominating right now but i'll take a non-dominant J-Rich as long as he doesn't make bone-headed mistakes.

SOOOO totally agree. Its because it was the Spurs and it was his turn to be cursed.
J-Rich is playing great and very aggressively looking for his shot. Thats what we need from him, shoot the ball and post up. It works and add another positive offensive attack. He is trying hard to rebound as well.

he's great in the post, and he's a pretty good rebounder too. Even though he's missed some dunks that make us do a palm to the forehead, i enjoy seeing his other dunks that go down. (as opposed to raja bell, who hardly ever dunked... without marion, our only real exciting dunker was amare, but now J-rich is pretty exciting to watch too).
Its just hard to enjoy him when you know much he's getting paid... J-Rich for about 7 or 8 mill a year would make me like him a lot better.

I wish he shaped up a bit more. He could easily be our number 3 guy. Infact, for the past few games, he has done just that- bring game behind Nash and Amare. We should see how he works the rest of the season though.

I think he just got too caught up in being a jumpshooter when he really isn't a pure shooter, part of the blame lies in the Suns not utilizing J Rich and using his strengths like going to him in the post and running more plays for him.

We have a really unusual group, and I think you could say we had the same figuring-out-the-role problems for Frye, RoLo, JRich, Grant, Dudley,
and Dragic. In the beginning of the season, other teams just had no idea what to do with our bizarre mix, and we rolled. Then they started actually scouting us, and the team really took a while to adjust.
Now ... well, now we have reason to be excited about the season again!
My only fear is that other teams will figure us out again.

It helps that he's come out of his shooting funk. He's been consistently knocking down 3s lately. It helps open his entire game up. He could be knocking down the 3s because his wrist finally healed, or it could be that he's choosing better looks to put up instead of the off-balance chucking he was doing a couple months ago. But now with his outside shot falling, he's able to get to the rim more easily as well. The Suns have also been doing a good job at taking advantage of his post game on smaller defenders (same with Hill, he's been getting a lot of post-ups lately too). As long as J-Rich plays passable defense and keeps up his offensive performance of late, the Suns are in good shape for the end of the season and into the playoffs.

J-rich along with many players on this team has stepped up. I hope he can keep it going. I think the rist hurt his shooting, and then it lead to a slump.

I wouldn't mind JRich so much if during the off-season he'd sit down and watch Better Basketball videos so that maybe one day he could become a competent player. Until then, he's an NBA All-Retard team candidate. The sooner we trade him the better.

I'm like the only one on here that actually likes J-Rich but everyone wants to trade him.
