Sweet 1,0000

Has it really been 14 years since Suns fans booed the team's 1996 first-round draft pick, a skinny Canadian point guard from Santa Clara?

The draft-day crowd was disappointed because fans wanted the team to selected John Wallace, a 6-foot-8 forward from Syracuse who ended up going three picks later at No. 18 to the New York Knicks.

On Sunday, Steve Nash - that Canadian point guard - will play in his 1,000th career regular-season game when the New Orleans Hornets visit US Airways Center.

Just read Posey will not be playing for NO.

There's only 82 games a season.

He played 8 years, and he ended up playing for the Suns in 48 games in '01. (I don't remember him)

I once wondered what happened to him, but it was only fleeting. I do however remember that dunk like it was yesterday. It was actually the first game that I ever owned, now I have way too many to count. I remember recording it when they used to show games on Thursday nights here in Oz from like a week ago, haha. But the Pistons wore throwbacks with Ft. Wayne on their jerseys, well anyways, enough said. Here is the dunk.

Poor John Wallace, he was never the same.

Unathletic white PG from lowly Santa Clara, please. Worst draft pick of all time.
