Sucks. I was hoping he'd get a chance there. Where do you guys think he'll end up? D-League? Europe? Nets (lol)?

Oh and I'm only posting this because our next game is so far away, lol. Gives us something else to talk about. Even though it's not much. Maybe this can be an Alando Tucker dedication thread. Lets get some videos of him! If you can find any that is.

It's too bad but he never really showed anything, right?

What is the usual destination for these kind of players? I'm guessing over seas?

Too bad - a nice guy by all accounts, kept his chin up, worked hard, didn't whine about his role or lack of. Greatly liked by teammates. Just in the wrong place, both here and after the trade.

I agree, cut Griffin and do a sign and trade for Tucker. Then trade him to a contender for Bosh or Wade. It benefits the Suns and helps Tucker play for a top contender team.

Maybe he'll end up in NY with Bell.

He'll probably head overseas I reckon. There's not much for him here if even the Wolves dropped him. Great guy but just not NBA material.

Edit: Apparently the move was to make space to resign Brian Cardinal . . . lol why is he still playing?

Yeah that's what I was wondering...Brian Cardinal was irrelevant like 7 years ago

I don't think Alando has an NBA career ahead of him at all, sadly.

It is too bad, because he is a good guy. Being from Iowa, and attending the U of Iowa, I saw him play a few times and he was a good player, just an undersized PF in college, and had to change once he got to the NBA. That is the absolute WRONG time to have to change who you are as a player. Wisconsin should have utilized him better as a 3 rather than a 4. Undersized PF's rarely make the transition to the NBA.

Everything that I have read says that they brought Cardinal to, more or less, give them a leader in the lockerroom. Also to get some stability, seeing as they were going through a long losing streak.

Heres the thing I don't get about that. At this point in the season wouldn't it make more sense to bring in some 20 something year old big man. Sure Brian can help the lockerroom, but they are locked into their posistion lottery wise. Look it up they can't realistically catch up to the Nets are be caught up by the Warriors or Wizards.

I don't honestly get the Wolves this season. You cut Alando Tucker but you hang onto Aleksandar Pavlovic. Who has played 61/70 games and has actucally gotten decent playing time for someone so godawful this season.

Tucker should go to the NBADL.

I really don't know much about what the Wolves want or need since I don't follow them but it just seems like the move to drop Tucker and pick up Cardinal just don't seem to address any problems they don't already have nor does it make them a better team since Cardinal doesn't play. They weren't good when they had Cardinal, so I don't see how dropping Tucker and resigning Cardinal makes them any better.
