Nice looking card. we're kicking off the Paramount era with some decent fights though Nunes/Harrison was canceled due to Kayla's neck injury. Smotherman also fainted after weighing in so that one was called off.

Both Perez and Figgy missed weight.... Fight game is the fight game so Paramount surely knew what they were getting into in terms of volatility week-in/out - stands to reason that Dana and the UFC don't give a **** because they have their contract locked in now, and have survived card turnover and all the drama before.

ANYWAY time for some picks

Gaejthe over Pimblett but I do think Paddy has ways to win. They both can stand and deliver and Justin has been KO'd recently so if his chin isn't the same it could go badly for him. I'm hoping my JG pick is right because his fights are always bangers and I wanna see him challenge for a title.

Omalley DEC - might be a pt fight, that's my inclination

Derrick Lewis KO - Acosta is hittable and these two will put on a show. Lewis wants to be on the WH card so he will be eager to advertise that with a W

Natalia Silva DEC - Rose is older now I think this is Silva's time to shine.

Jean Silva KO [this fight is missing from the photo I think] - Arnold Allen is very good but he need to come out with fire, he might get KOd badly.

prelims

Umar DEC
Gautier KO
Bukauskas KO

early prelims no comment
Cheers

That was the most embarrassing “title” fight in ufc history.

Both guys looked terrible and had no business fighting for a belt. What a **** show.

Agree with you Dupp. JG swinging from the hips and not defending is pretty telling. He had 0 respect for Paddy's power and was not defense-first. Just swing and get connections. Ilia will touch him if they match up. That being said Paddy took a lot of hits and didn't give up so that's pretty dope. Still was a fun entertaining fight (especially for action-hungry fans), but not a champ level fight in terms of technique.

The middle fights of the Main Card were not that great. However Allen/Silva was slick.

Umar didn't impress me, and Krylov did, which I wouldn't have predicted lol

Gaethje looked fat and has completely abandoned leg kicking, maybe his best weapon. Was nice to see him actually use offensive grappling to control things though. Should have done that for the last decade.
