Brown, Alves and Henderson are all ranked too high. Pretty much everyone you have 12-21 is better than them, pretty much.
Mousasi, Lesnar and JZ should all be higher.

Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Pretty solid list. I've got a few problems with it (I wouldn't have Liddell ranked that high at this point, a lot of the Dream LWs should be higher), but for a top 50, it's pretty good.

LOL Thiago Alves hasn't proved nothing yet. I would have Llyoto Machidaa up there. He's going to be one of the most dominant of all time.

I like both guys a lot, but to say Alves has proven nothing and then pump up Machida is kind of funny. Alves has more wins over solid opponents than Machida does. Machida is a very nice fighter, but his resume does not match up IMO. Alves has fought a ton of tough guys, including 5 fights against top 10 level guys in his division (Koscheck, Fitch, Karo, Hughes, Marcus Davis). Machida has fought 2 top 10 level guys, and neither of those are for sure top 10's (Thiago Silva, Franklin).
Machida is a tough dude, but he needs some bigger fights before we go putting him in the top 10 IMO.

Has Machida taken a punch, nevermind a loss?

He and Franklin mixed it up a bit in their fight. He has noty fought many guys who will take the fight to him. I would love to see Machida fight Forest or Rampage.

Lyoto has to be a lot higher. I think he'll be at least top 5 in everyone's books by the end of this year.

You may be right, he has a ton of talent, but first he has to beat some people with a pulse.

Re: My Top 50 MMA P4P Rankings
TIm Sylvia is ranked too low even I don't ever want to see him fight again.
Brian Bowles? There's no way he's a top fifty fighter. He's getting a title shot because there aren't enough good people in his division in the WEC.
Leonard Garcia was just beat by Cole Miller two fights ago. His big win is against Jens Pulver who has lost 4 of his last 5.
Vitor Belfort's fight against Lindland proved nothing we didn't already know. He has a great left hand and is dangerous in the first few minutes of the first round. He's had one win against top tier competition in the last 10 years (not counting the Couture fight) and it was a quick knockout. I need to see a lot more.
I'm not ready to put Mike Brown as top 10 fighter. How far does he drop on your list if Urijah beats the crap out of him when they fight like he would have last time if not for a fluke KO?
Not a bad list, though.

Some very interesting stuff here, but I will argue 2 of your points. Bowles is a top 2 or 3 BW in the world, not the WEC. Pretty much any site that does rankngs has Torres #1, with Bowles or Ueda #2 and #3. Also, Mike Brown is far from a one fight flash in the pan. He is 20-4, with his losses coming to Genki Sudo, Joe Lauzon, Hermes Franca, and Mazakazu Imanara. 3 of those losses were at lightweight, and at featherweight, he has wins over Mark Homminick, Jeff Curran, and Urijah Faber. Mike Brown has been dominate since his move to featherweight. Mike Brown had a very good chance of beating Faber when they fought, he is the bigger, stronger man and is a very good fighter. He beat Faber, and you can rationalize it all you want, but he still did. If Faber had beat him, he would likely be in the 20's somewhere. But, you could say that about a lot of guys on this list. The idea is to reward winners.
