Re: MMA's top camp
No one's mentioned DellaGrote's camp, BTW. If I had a choice, that's where I'd go, I think. Florian himself appears to be developing some really good cornering skills. And for a MT camp, I can't think of too many submission losses any of them have had. If any? Cote went the distance with Almeida and Davis hasn't been submitted since TUF, as testament to that.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

You can't mention ATT without the steroid and diuretic abuse. A lot of positive tests.

Re: MMA's top camp
I think DellaGrote's camp is good but a bit overrated. Florian is the only top level fighter from that camp. The rest(Cote, Rivera, Davis) are more mid-card level. I think this might be one of the reasons that they haven't been mentioned. DellaGrfote I don't think teaches much BJJ either. Florian, if I remember correctly, trains BJJ at Gracie Barra Boston and uses DellaGrote for Muay Thai and MMA.
Portland also has quite a few good MMA camps. There are three camps right now with UFC fighters and also there are a few other smaller gyms that are gonna blow up in a few years. Plus, the SBGi world headquarters are out here. I think everyone in Portland can thank Randy Couture for building the highest per capita MMA fan base in the country.
Team Quest: Kinda self explanitory
Next Level MMA: Nate Quarry, Mike Dolce, Ed Herman
Braveheart Fight Club: Rick Story, Mike Pierce(WEC)
Also look out for the names Impact JiuJitsu and AliveMMA. Two very dedicated gyms with lots of talented coaches and guys training there.

Florian is the head BJJ instructor at DellaGrote (Sityawahtever). You'd get your belt under him.

Good call on Sityodtong (sp?). I'd forgotten about them. They aren't the best, but I think I'd put them in the top 10. Even though they don't have the best roster of fighters, the guys who do train there have all shown huge amounts of improvement.

Just curious does anyone know if Eddie Bravo has any fighters out there? He is held in such high regard in the grappling world I was wondering if he had anyone out there, besides his 10th Planet BJJ team.

Re: MMA's top camp
I think Eddie has a few guys training out of Legends Gym down in Hollywood. Jason Chambers holds a brown belt under Eddie. Frank Mir has spent some time with Bravo. But he's not so much an MMA trainer. He's more of a BJJ coach who teaches MMA applicable techniques.
