Did I mention he isn't a can? :)

He flat out won that fight too. Kid's wrestling looked much worse than it used to.

I may have mentioned it as well.

And yeah, if anything, the one judge who gave it to Kid was wrong. Warren still didn't look like an absolute stud, but being 2-0 to start your career against Beebe and Kid is pretty impressive. I've gotta think he's the favourite to win the whole thing now, especially with Thales Imanari going out last night as well.

Just goes to show you why people constantly say that wrestling is the best MMA base to have. Because you control where the fight takes place.

Every underdog won in the 4 featherweight fights. I disagree that Warren is the favorite though, he is still very raw and all the others that advanced are really good BJJ guys. I'm taking Fernandes to win it.

Calvancante lost again, which seems to be a trend.

He did a heck of a lot better than I expected. He did pretty well until he hurt his knee.Assuming the knee injury was legit.

He didn't look any worse than Bob Sapp. What a clown that guy is.

The best part of the Canseco fight for me was his entrance. I don't know what they do on the Japanese or HDNet broadcasts, but on the Korean one they put the guy's fighting styles on his little tale of the tape/profile graphic. Most people are boxing, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo, freestyle, etc. Jose Canseco's fighting style? 프리 (freestyle) and 야구 (baseball).

And Cammo, you're probably right about Warren in this tournament. Just about everyone left is potentially a bad matchup for him. I was just thinking more along the lines that he has to be the highest ranked guy left.

His first punch was nice and I actually burst out laughing when he connected it. It's when he was trying to do his action hero judo kicks that I lost all hope for him.

Abel vs Tokoro was awesome. I can't believe Abel held out during that triangle.

Yeah, fight of the night easily.

Tokoro usually has exciting fights.
