Cro Cop back to the UFC?

I don't know how legit this is, and even if it is, it doesn't seem to be a done deal just yet.

If it's true  at Dana for tearing into him so hard though.

They want to feed him to Brock. In order for Brock to have a legacy, he needs names, and with Val vs Carwin not for awhile they need bodies to feed him.

LOL @ the "offer he cannot refuse."

I don't really get why they would want him so badly though. Feeding him to Brock makes some sense, but CC is so far away from a title shot at this point that I don't think that could be the reason. He would need a few wins that he won't be able to get in order to look like a halfway credible #1 contender.

On the other hand, it could be a nice contingency plan should Brock lose to Mir. He could fight Cro Cop right away and be back in the title hunt just because he's Brock Lesnar. They could actually feed him to Mir if the reverse happens, or the loser of Carwin/Velasquez.

Of course, what I'd really like to see is the Cro Cop of old, so we could be talking about who will be fed to him instead of who he will be fed to.

Simple. Look at the numbers he brought in for UFC 99.

Haven't seen them.

PPV numbers?
Live gate?

And how much can really be credited to CC if that show did well?

I suppose they could just use him as one of their "guys who always fight in Europe." Could be part of what makes it a great offer for him as well. Maybe go as far as to guarantee him a fight on every card in Europe. That's not something the UFC would usually want to be held to, but there could be some mention of it.

He is still a huge draw for the fans, but of course, I don't see why. I could've sworn Dana was done with him.

Must be the cynic in me, but I could so see Dana White "verbally" agreeing to get Cro Cop back into the UFC, then at the last second just going "Actually, nah, Dream can have yah".

But should he come back, its a good thing for the UFC, though he has to take more challenging fights than Al Turk.

Dana would be the type to hold grudges, and I can easily see him grinning at the thought of his golden boy Lesnar smashing Mirko. Probably won't happen though. The guy is dodging competition left and right it seems. Even as one of his biggest fans, I admit that he's a lost cause.

Next fight Cro Cop is scheduled to fight Del Santos (think thats his name). As expected they are throwing guys at Cro Cop to help build him up as a contender again the the division.

It's Junior Dos Santos, and I think he will beat Cro Cop.

Yeah, Dos Santos should win this fight. Makes a lot more sense than fighting Justin McCully as well.

Although if they try to start using Cro Cop in their 2nd/3rd fight from the top, I'm gonna be a little upset.

His return can make the 4th/5th fights more interesting, but until he gets some legit wins, I don't want to pretend his fights are all that important.

Cro Cop just wants to fight. UFC only lets him fight like 2-3 times a year, but Cro Cop wants to fight as many times as possible.
