Couture signs a new six fight deal!

Not surprised the UFC signed him again, but 6 fights is too much. I feel like hes sticking in there way too long, would hate to see him over stay his welcome in the sport as a fighter like Shamrock.

He is done in two to three fights. This is just to prevent him from jumping ship. If he fights CroCop and loses by KO, expect Randy to get the Liddell treatment.

Yeah that's more than a fight every five months. I'd only expect only 3-4 more fights with guys like Coleman.

I agree, i think he's got about 3 good wars left in him, and there are potentially bigger fights for him at LHW than at HW. I think it would be kind of awesome to have Liddell/Couture end their careers in one last battle, even if it is a tad gimmicky

Couture vs Liddell would be sick to see again. Would much rather see that fight opposed to Couture vs Silva or Machida.

How about his first fight be the winner of Coleman/Ortiz?

Randy vs. the winner of Tito and Coleman would be a cool fight for sure and would sell a lot of PPVs.

Randy should drop down to LHW, could fight winner of Coleman/Ortiz, or Keith Jardine( 5 losses in his last 9 fights) or Vladmir Matyushenko, or Brandon Vera , or maybe Rich Franklin ?, maybe Matt Hamill ?

Yeah I think he'll drop down. He was more natural at LHW...no pun in tended. He faced Coleman, he would take him to school. If it's Tito, I could imagine that Randy would make it a good fight...but I'd see Tito coming out in that one.

The only guys I wanna see Randy fighting are Cro Cop, Mark Coleman, Tito Ortiz, Wanderlei, and maybe Belfort. There's no way he is going to last more than a round against guys like Anderson, and there is no way I'd wanna see him risk it against some newbie or midcarders who could easily build a name off of him by a lucky punch. His fights should be classics now, PPV sellers, nothing else.
