UFC White hopeful for Fedor and Mousasi

Negotiations with Fedor prob will fall downhill like the last time, but maybe we'll see Mousasi in the UFC. Mousasi wouldn't be asking for the same demands as Fedor so I would think it would be more likely that he would be UFC bound.

Maybe more likely, but still very difficult considering that Mousasi also belongs with M1-Global.

I'd like to see both of them in UFC.

Having both in UFC would pretty much crush the other organizations. But Fedor's camp demands too much and Dana was already giving up a lot from the contract he had on the table.

Mousasi will be just as difficult, esp as far as the non-competition clause or whatever. He has a pro boxing match in a few days, for example.

Gegard might well like the freedom he has outside of the UFC.

M-1 and like cowboyronnie says - the freedom these two enjoy (GM w/ boxing/K1 and Fedor w/ Sambo) is something the likes of Strikeforce and Dream will do, and could be a stickler for the UFC to land them.

However it is nice to see them have another go at grabbing these two, fingers crossed, but I am not overly hopeful that it will be pulled off.

Gegard can make a fair bit in K-1, so even the financial side of the UFC won't be that unique. He could take on some of K-1's smaller heavyweights - Manhoef, Samedov, Spong, Bonjafsky - for big money.

When pigs fly or SF/Dream fold (whichever comes first).

I don't know how or why Mousasi got into the clutches of those sneaky **** Russians, but I sure hope he gets out quickly so we can see him in some meaningful fights.

If he fights Henderson (which he may or may not actually do, since it looks like Hendo is going to go for the Strikeforce MW championship), there's nobody else left that is really intriguing.

King Mo would be the next best guy, probably in the whole world, and he's nowhere near ready for a guy like Mousasi.

Maybe they could bring in Ricardo Arona, since he's been active again in Brazil, but the 205 division is one you can look at where the UFC has about 22 or 23 of the top 25 in the world. It's just a waste to have him fighting anywhere else.
