Missed this the first time.

Ridiculous.

Edgar eats Melendez alive, so do Penn and Florian.

GSP beats Nick Diaz 11 times out of 10, and I like Diaz.

Shields might actually have the best chance of the bunch against Silva, but the way he gets his takedowns would get him picked apart. He would lose a kickboxing match to Demian Maia, FFS.

Machida has shown some ability to evade takedowns, so I don't think he would suffer the same fate as Mousasi. Plus he picks Mo apart on the feet.

Overeem (not Fedor) is the SF champ, and he would get taken down and pounded out by Lesnar in the first round.

Criminal Minds is a good show....

By the way... CBS is kicking ass and taking names when it comes to ratings primetime during the week.

For sure. Melendez is nothing special. I would like to see a third fight against Thomson. I'm not sure there's an audience. In fact, though, returning to local West Coast shows may bring that audience.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Thought for a second you meant Brock would take Fedor down and pound out Fedor. I would have problems with that prediction. :) I agree with everything you said though.

The ratings were and weren't surprising. They weren't surprising in that they did worse than the Fedor fight. Those ads were better imo because they were centralized around one guy, also using the 'best in the world' slogan. There was more buzz around the fight as well. And as mentioned it was a good sports night outside of MMA on TV. I was surprised however that even the key 18-49 demo was crap.
