Tito was pissed because his assistant coach said the kick wasn't in the face (which the replay shows it clearly was). Also, IMO, that Seth guy had won the first round and with one kick, pissed away a possible win (This must have been especially infuriating for Tito since another of his trainees also got DQ'd earlier in the series for a similar incident)...

Just finally got to see the show, despite the guy in the bar in NYC pretty much telling me everything, still one of the more entertaining episodes this season.

Its funny how pretty much everyone knew that kick was flush on the jaw, and then all of a sudden Tito and his coaches act as if it isn't. I wonder if Tito apolagises to Chuck about it ... since he was asking for a apology after chuck "goes and watches the replay".

Sad to see Yager go out like that, I kind of expected it all along but it's sad to see.

This is the season of the less talented, but bigger heart guys like Court and Bryant.

Glad to see Tito got the boot.

I like how Spike changed the 'Team Ortiz' graphic to 'Team Franklin' at the end.

Tito's such an ass, selling out Yager like that. That's so high school to try to distract attention away from your own flaws and your own responsibility by making a huge scene of someone else's. That's what 15 year old girls do - when they sense their own insecurity, they pick on someone weaker in order to galvanize their friends on a scapegoat. He saw that same opportunity and jumped all over it (all over Yager).

Yager's kicks were nuts! Those front kicks...sheeeeet! They were so explosive that Josh couldn't even grab them for a TD attempt. And the clinch? Josh just couldn't get ahold of someone that dynamic.

He quit...whatever, it was the best fight of the season by far.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Spoiler- Supposedly the assistant coaches for Franklin are-

Forrest Griffin (seen in commercial screenshot), Gray Maynard, and Tyson Griffin. Seems like they just called Xtreme Couture guys because they are right down the road.

Yager is a lot of fun to watch, but he's way too wild. If he wasn't jumping around for kicks and superman punches every 10 seconds he probably would have won that fight easily. He "quit," but I can't really hate on a guy who was constantly putting himself out there trying to score a KO.

Interesting finale. Two guys that got second chances to win it all. I wonder who is going to get a crack at Yager eventually.

Nice comeback in the 3rd by Court to choke out Brad.

I think Court will win the finale.

Underwhelming finale, IMO. Don't see a ton of potential in either guy. At least if a guy like Tavares or Yager got in, I could talk myself into their potential, but the way it played out, I think this was a pretty weak season for talent. Then again, maybe these guys are better than they looked on the show...if I heard right, Dana said McCray fought 5 times in 5 weeks; literally every Tuesday. That's crazy. Plus with the workouts Tito was putting them through, it would be tough to look 100%.

Anyway, I think McCray takes it, but I also thought Court would lose pretty much every fight he was in, and here he is in the finale.

I just read that Jamie Yager is fighting Rich Attonito at the finale. WTF? Out of all the guys, they picked Attonito? Lame.

The finale card, by the way...

MAIN CARD

* Matt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine
* Court McGee vs. Kris McCray
* Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson
* Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Travis Browne vs. James McSweeney
* John Gunderson vs. Mark Holst
* Seth Baczynski vs. Brad Tavares*
* Chris Camozzi vs. James Hammortree*
* Rich Attonito vs. Jamie Yager*

* - Not officially announced

Fisher vs. Siver is pretty badass.

Rich Attonito vs. Jamie Yager is the first fight on the main card now.

I think that will be an entertaining fight. Attonito looked good till he got injured and Yager just needs a little direction.

Am I the only person who thought Josh Bryant won that fight last night? Clearly he lost the first round, but I thought he squeaked out both the 2nd and 3rd when McCray could no longer take him down. It was close, and I have no problem with McCray winning, just curious if anyone else saw it this way?

I'll agree it was a close fight, could have gone either way. But the crazy thing is that Adalie Bird and Glen Trowbridge scored the fight 30-27, that fight was way too close to get that score.

When I heard the scores, I was actually thinking Josh won, because I was pretty sure he'd won the 2nd. I'm glad he didn't though, because I hate to see wall-n-stall get rewarded.

Would a Court McGee vs. Josh Bryant final have been the worst ever? I think so.

Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver!!!!!

Terrible crop of fighters from this season.

Do you think anyone opted of drilling with the marines? On moral grounds.

I was right with you there. To be honest, I don't know how anyone, especially MMA judges, could have scored round 2 for McCray.

To me, this is how the fight broke down (McCray-Bryant):
Round 1 was dominated by McCray. He didn't hurt Bryant, but he dominated (10-9)
Round 2 was closer but I still thought it was rather clear Bryant won it. (9-10)
Round 3 was extremely close (could have been a 10-10 round with no objections from me) but I though Bryant slipped in the bigger shots that round and as such, I had him winning it by a whisker. (9-10)

I think any objective observer should have had the fight split after two rounds. Any of the three options of (10-9 McCray), (10-9 Bryant) or (10-10) would have been fine with me for the third round scoring (though I understand 10-10 wouldn't play in this type of competition). The 30-27 scores make no sense to me.

this is why there needs to be MMA judges, not boxing judges doing MMA bouts.
