Solid, solid bout.

I like the Alpha Male crew

I've gayed-up threads, but never to this degree.

Again, showing why you are a douche bag.

I've never seen that Pettis cat before, but he is a stud and a half. He reminded me of a cross of Genki and Jones, freak athleticism applied to Jiu Jitsu. Those spin kicks were incredible, even though he missed he made yell out a whoa, looking forward to seeing him in the future.

Pettis had never looked this good before. He was seen mostly as a banger type. He looked amazing last night. Can't wait to see him and Bendo.

I'm midway through the Cub vs Mendez fight. There's been wild striking so far in previous fights, but Cub in the second round has had the only good striking. Maybe cos he's hitting a stationary target unable to counter-punch, I guess. But there was some beautiful stuff there. I didn't find the Jorgenson or Bart P fights that interesting. They're not stylized. It's not great to watch.

You need to watch the Jorgenson fight again. Pickett's boxing was impressive for MMA.

Agreed. They may not have been putting on the dancing show Cub was, but both had vastly superior striking to Cub.

Cub Swanson confuses me. For all the great coaches and training partners he has/has had, I expect him to be better than this.

He has loads of natural talent, but does not seem to be able to put it together. He loses to every above average fighter he faces, yet he looks like a world beater against everyone else.

Exactly. And if guys like Erik Paulson and Greg Jackson can't do anything to change that then nobody can.

Pettis !!!!!!!! Woah! Those break-dancing scramble/sweeps were cool. And the striking!

He has shown signs of these previously.

Cruz and Pettis are two of the most amazing fighters to watch in any division. Strapping muscles onto dudes just slows them down and wastes their training time.

This whole event was awesome. Screw the UFC. I don't want to see a shirtless man from here on out if he's over 145 pounds or has body hair or objections to nipple-play.

I would like to see Pettis fight Aldo more than Bendo. That would be the battle of athletic freaks, if that fight happened that would be a lock for FOTN.

If Pettis can show that kind of TD defense, he can beat Bendo.
