Bellator October (Alvarez vs Huerta)

Post#1 » by cowboyronnie » Sat Oct 23, 2010 3:06 am

Great event this Thursday. Recommended viewing!!

Spoilers:

Hawn vs Maynard. Woah. Maynard looked a beast. That was great, powerful striking. And that was a hell of a throw from Hawn. The best judo credentials in U.S. MMA, Hawn is, I've got to think.

Alvarez! Sheet! That's the best boxing I've seen maybe ever in MMA. Beautiful movement. The upperbody and the footwork, the timing, the power...everything. Truly a thing of beauty.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Alvarez needs to be in the UFC. A fight between him and KenFlo would be dynamite.

He'd knock the living **** out of KenFlo. I want Gray Maynard's hands and size to be exposed, really. That would be an awesome fight. Eddie's movement is lightyears ahead of Gray's. It would be a clinic. God, what beautiful movement and explosiveness.

No doubt the reason Edgar helped to train Alvarez for this fight is that Eddie will in return be able to do an awesome Maynard impression in Edgar's training.

I don't necessarily think he'd walk through KenFlo. Alvarez has been knocked down a lot and Kenny has extremely polished boxing.

I think it would be a real close fight. Kenny ran through Huerta even worse than Alvarez did.

Agreed. They are right at the top of my people who need to be in the UFC list. In fact, now that Shields is in the UFC, Alvarez is prolly the guy I most want in the UFC.
