I had Swanson winning the first.

I'd love to see Mendes take on Gamburyan now.

Mizugaki's boxing looked awesome while it lasted. I can't believe how pinpoint and quick his coutners were coming.

WEC 4EVR. **** the UFC.

The skill level is insane. It really just shames the hell out of 90% of the UFC's heavyweight division. Compare Mizu's boxing to Schaub vs whatshisface last month. Two ass****s swinging like drunks.

Just watching the replay you can see Rosenthal go back and forth to either side of Mizukaki twice before pulling Urijah off... I thought he could of called it before checking even once if he was out. Once he turned over completely, he was out.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. But it was a bad configuration of circumstances , not Rosenthal. Mizugaki refused to tap and rolled onto his face right at a corner of the fencing. No way could Rosenthal tell. He couldn't stretch the arms, he couldn't see Mizugaki's face, he couldn't see where Uriah's forearm was. It had been tucked secure for a split second right before Mizu rolled, but perhaps the roll dislodged it. It was a tough spot.

I defend most of what the refs call, I guess. Contrary to teh above, I was all for the early stoppage of Wiman vs Danzig. Mac ought to have signaled he was fine. He didn't. He deserves to suffer the consequences of the ref making a call. Likewise, if Mizu's not going to tap, he's putting his own well-being into danger and has to live (or die, most dramatically) by the judgment of the referee. You have to fight with some sense of the ref's perception.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
