Just to add, it's a welterweight fight at the 147 limit.

I'm mixed on this fight. Mosley looked horrible his last fight and the last 10 rounds against Mayweather. If he doesn't tire after 2 rounds, this fight could be something to watch.

I said it before...out of Mosley, Marquez, and Berto, Marquez certainly deserved a Pacquiao fight, but I felt he posed the least challenge (I also hear he priced himself out). I personally wanted Pacquiao-Berto (I also understand he's not exactly more known than Mosley or Marquez).

Hopefully after this, Mayweather gets all of his legal troubles settled. Whether he goes to prison or not, at least we could start the moving on or start the hype process for Pacquiao and Mayweather (I pray Mosley doesn't pull an upset here). If Mayweather ends up in prison, or just doesn't want to fight Pacquiao, perhaps then we'll see Pacquiao-Berto.

yea i agreed with Rich, rather see Manny fight Andre but at the end of the day, it's all business and pairing him up with Mosley will definately draw more ppv buys

Im quite underwhelmed by this fight.
Atleast Mosley gets both fights that he wanted and can now retire after this.!

This is terrible. It's not competitive and yet another boxer who doesn't know when to quit will take a retirement beating.

He's been a pro boxer for 20 years. He's adding maybe 5-20% to his retirement fund. That's hardly worth the beating he's going to take.

Who even has interest in this? This is less competitive than the Margs fight, IMO, and has no upside to either guy losing. Mosley is a respectable veteran who does not deserve the beating.

It's too bad the gap between Manny and Martinez is so great.

I want a Marquez fight.... he deserves it. Mosley has not looked like a world class fighter in over a year.

I'm sure it will do a decent number, but I think even the most casual of boxing fans can tell this fight is a sham. Hopefully there's enough backlash to put enough pressure on Manny/Mayweather to finally put that fight together.

I'm sure some people will hate that I'm bringing MMA into this, but for those who follow both, what would be an apt comparison? Velasquez vs. Couture? Aldo vs. Pulver?

I still believe he presents more of a challenge at 147 than Marquez does.

Mayweather was always the first choice, but he and his uncle have a mountain of legal troubles they have to get through.

Is there seriously no one out there for Pac to fight?

If people hate this fight so much, why the hell is it going to do 1.4 million buys or more?

Ummm...sure he does. He's a former steroid user dude, of course he deserves the beating, LOL

and he's getting a nice 7 million dollar pay day as a big send-off to end his career
