He says that he's made more than enough so far in MMA to retire and live his simple, quaint life. He doesn't need to fight anymore if he's going to keep getting paid the same amount of money and fighting the same quality of guys. IF he's going to continue killing himself, he says he deserves to get paid more, otherwise the sacrifice isn't worth it.

So, AGAIN, people (nerds) are too quick to call Diaz stupid before actually trying to understand his position.
