Still fairly young 31, with a 20-12-1 record.

*** Wow just realized he is the older brother, thought Shogun was older.

Bit of a shame - he had EliteXC but never really made a push after that.

Just remembered that epic challenge Shogun made to Rampage back in the day after page beat Ninja.

Still, the two bro's have the best nick names in MMA - so simple and cheesy - yet not.

Cry me a river. Don't come to the board till you watch fights. Next time you'll know.

What wait a week till after the event ? I have yet to watch Pascal/Hopkins 2, have I been to the boxing thread ? No because I have not watched the fight yet. Wasn't that easy ?

Did the part about thread titles go right over your head, or did you just choose to ignore it?

The fact that you were able to wait to check the boxing thread is kind of the point. If someone made a new thread about it, giving away the result in the title, wouldn't you be kind of upset?

It's not like Ninja Rua's retirement is a huge story anyway (conversely, I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about a Ninja Rua fight being spoiled at this point either, but it's the principle.)

ur smart

Let's rename the Boxing Thread to "Pascal/Hopkins Wins!". By your logic, you shouldn't have checked the board yet.

You do realize changing the title to ... doesn't help. I clicked on it because I didn't know what it was about and then i see that ninja rua retires.

Whatever not a big deal, isn't a big shock.

The upside to this great injustice is that it spoiled a minor league card and the retirement of a guy famous only because his brother is a great fighter. While spoilers surely suck, I doubt this one is going to ruin anyone's week.

I certainly wanted to watch the fight still holding the possibility that Ninja might win in my mind. It's essential to the excitement of it. If I'm sitting down to spend 15 minutes watching a fight, I don't care how B-class the fighters are, I don't want to know who wins.

I agree. Spoilers suck. I'm just saying this is more like spoiling The Village than it is spoiling The Sixth Sense.

There really was no need for a new thread here anyways. It would have fit nicely in the non-UFC thread.

Probably not a bad idea to merge it there.
