Solid event.

Really starting to like Condit these days, he looks sloppy at times, but lovely finish.

I kinda like Leben, but when I saw Silva go down its just that sense of the old guard are really starting to pass now. Its not a knock on him, he had his prime (in pride) and was awesome, like any sportsman, he'll eventually slow and need to hang up the gloves. What with the UFC wanting to get bigger in Brazil I am sure he has job security with them for a good while anyway (as an ambassador)

Ortiz Bader was interesting. I am still not sure what to think - I did previously think Bader was pretty good and getting better and that Ortiz was "trash" at this stage of his career (the end ...) but might not be the case in either sense. V.interested for both their next fights.

I just took it for granted that Bader would beat Tito, I never considered how badly I wanted Tito to lose. What a douche. The guy hasn't beaten a legit opponent in, what, 7-8years?...and he then decides to hold a particularly brutal technique well after the tap. What a ****ing ass****.

Carlos Condit has finished 26 of his 27 wins??? That's absolute insanity. What a killer.

I feel the same way. I hate when two fat heavyweights gas after walking to the octagon too, but at least one will usually eventually get knocked out.

The little guys are fun to watch but it just gets old sometimes when no one is ever in danger in the fight.

Aldo is obviously another story.

Title fight was hard to score, I counted a few 10-10 rounds.

Very pleased with the event overall, aside from a couple clunkers in the prelims. Leben's KO had me on the edge of my seat. I was hoping both fighters would manage to spend minutes, not seconds, in the pocket until one of them got dropped.

I did think the third could have been a 10-10.

I'm a huge fan of Condit. He's always looking to do damage, no matter the position.

Joe Rogan likes to say that Mittrione is the right kind of crazy for MMA. That is exactly how I feel about Carlos Condit. He has the perfect mental makeup for a guy fighting people in a cage.

Typical MMA fan. Just wants to see guys in the cage to bang with each other, knock each other out and bleed, and not the technical aspect of it. I suggest you guys take up a martial art or some kind of combative sport. It'll make you enjoy those "boring" fights a lot more when you realize what they're trying to do out there, how difficult/impressive some of the stuff is.

Absolutely. He's up there with my favorite fighters for sure. I like Pettis better though probably, because of the hometown thing and excitement.

Condit is like the anti- LnPer. The natural born killer is such a good name for him lol.

This was a really good card top to bottom. Been awhile since we had a card like that.

Tough break for GSot, back to back losses. Not looking good for him.

I knew Guillard would get a quick KO. I'd like to see him face Guida or Pettis or J Miller/Bendo loser.

Awesome flying knee from Condit. I'm a big Condit fan, one more win should put him in title picture.

Holy Hell ! Tito Ortiz won a fight. :o Not a fan of Bader at all.

Matt Wiman was the victim of the judges on this card. No way Siver won that fight.

WAR Leben !

Cruz/Faber was a close fight, thought it could go either way with either fighter winning 3 rds to 2. NO way either fighter won all 5 rds, crappy judging shows up again. Can't believe one judge gave Cruz all 5 rds. Again IMO was a very close fight and I'd like to see Cruz/Faber 3.

I suggest not being so aggressive with your ignorance.

I was so off on my picks.. Great event though. The main event may have been the closest 49-46 fight I've seen, I wouldn't mind seeing a third fight as well.

the only controversy was if Cruz should have won 5 rounds or not. Dude CLEARLY won the fight.

Faber knocked Cruz down 4 times in the first 4 rounds. Those acting like Cruz rolled Faber were watching a very different fight than I was.

Cos he's leaping around like a maniac, swooping in-and-out off-balance. He bounced back immediately from each and every one. They were results of his movement.

For me though, Cruz dominated the fight by and large. Periodically, Faber would get a big shot in but they where mostly one off's. I felt the combo's that Cruz continually landed, and the pace and action that he set where much more signifigant than Faber landing 1 big shot here and there. I don't even think it was that close. Double Faber's big shots and knockdowns each round, and I could maybe agree that there's a controversy.

Getting a knockdown is (supposed to be) a big event in a round. It is usually hard for a guy to come back and win a round after being knocked down. I don't see that Cruz getting slightly the better of the stand up makes up for Faber being the only one inflicting damage. Though I can see why people see it the other way.

I'd venture to say that there has probably never been a fight in MMA history where a guy knocked his opponent down 4 times and lost the fight 50-45. It is even crazier to think about when you add to that that Faber was never hurt in the fight and rarely taken down until the 5th round.

You really need to stop posting about MMA. Could you take up online poker?

I don't understand how you can be so clueless about, like, physicality.

Naseem Hamed used to get KD'd 4-5 times a fight and win them handily. Because the KDs were entirely the result of his crazy movement and rarely the result of him getting hurt.

Faber's 'knock downs' and Cruz's take downs shouldn't have counted for anything..

I really liked Njokuani, it was the first time I saw him fight. He's like a really poor man's Jon Jones. How's his TDD?
