Re: MMA Betting Thread
I made 30 profit on Shockley last night, and 28 on Corey. I had 50 on Bezerra at virtually even odds to beat Bezerra, which I was pretty confident would come through, but the fight got canceled.
Still feel great about the yield from last night and my prospects for this Bellator season.
The odds aren't out for this coming week yet, but from the Tapology picks it looks like the smart money will be on Bruno Santos and Brian Rogers.

Damn, that Hawn flash KO wrecked both that individual bet and my parlay, but I still made $22.50 on the night.

Re: MMA Betting Thread
I put $50 to win $115 on Carlos Indio Alexandre Pereira over Bryan Baker, and $50 to win $72.50 on Karl Amoussou over Chris Lozano. I'm optimistic about winning both, but one comes through and I had yet another profitable weekend betting Bellator.
Edit: Made $22.50 again.

Re: MMA Betting Thread
I wasn't going to bet this weekend, but the odds ended up being too favorable not to. The wagers that I placed are:
Mike Richman - $40 to make $154
Hiroshi Nakamura - $30 to make $32.40
Douglas Lima - $30 to make $93
Alexandre Bezerra - $20 to make $36
EDIT - Made $136.40, now up $366.40 on the season, profited on all 5 events, and 9 straight in BFC.
I use other books now too. Bovada's odds aren't as attractive in most cases.

Re: MMA Betting Thread
I made a fairly safe parlay with Stann, Gustafsson, Rory and Bones. I think it was about $30 to make $50. Don't screw me Rashad.

Re: MMA Betting Thread
I put $50 on West to make $65 and $10 on Dantas to make $12. Keeping my profit streak on Bellator events alive all comes down to if West comes through. The fight I was most eager to bet, Brooks-Malytuin, never got posted. I feel good about Brooks winning and assumed he'd be the underdog because Malyutin is the bigger name with the longer record. That fight would have provided me insurance and much greater earning potential on this event.

Re: MMA Betting Thread
Since the start of Bellator I've made a net profit of just over $437. I feel like I got a couple bad breaks to not profit even more, but maybe I'm just focusing on the negative and ignoring any good breaks I may have received at the same time. Anyways, my week-by-week breakdown:
Bellator 60: +$58
Bellator 61: +$127
Bellator 62: +$22.50
Bellator 63: +$22.50
Bellator 64: +$136.40
Bellator 65 + UFC on Fuel: -$38, +$21 = -$17.00
Bellator 66 + UFC 145: -$2, +$89.75 = +$87.75
I'm pleased about those recent results. So it sucks there is no event this week in either org, and when Bellator returns it doesn't appear there will be much to play.
The one line which was posted early that I think is REALLY favorable is Jeremy Stephens vs. Donald Cerrone. Stephens is very underrated and Cerrone really overrated in spite of losing recently. Stephens deserved the nod over Guillard and only lost to elite Showtime Pettis recently in a close fight. Cerrone on the other hand built his rep off 2 fighters who subsequently dropped to 145. And he hurt them. Which is a rarity for him in fights. He really doesn't have a lot of power while Stephens has a good chin. Cerrone has a good chin, but takes a lot of shots, and if there's anyone who can test it lil' Heathen would be the guy. The only reasonable way I see Cerrone winning is by sub after a TD, but he's got too much machismo to take the fight to the ground. It only winds up there if Stephens is stupid enough to take it there, or in the oft chance he gets stunned. So Stephens at +230 is great value. I think he'll win.
