I've listened to this a couple of times and I'm not real sure how to take Floyd on this. I've always considered Floyd to be honest in his own way and he does have a point about Pacman. I remember in the Clottey fight Pacman through over 1,000 punches. That surprised me. I thought about steroids at that moment. Most fighters don't throw that many punches in a fight and yet Pacman didn't look tired at the end of those 12 rounds. I was amazed.

Pacman is a deadly fighter who punishes his opponents with bruises and swellings like I've never seen before. I'm just saying, he could be juiced. I'm also saying Floyd sounds scared too but he may have a reason to be.

Hasn't Paul Williams thrown 1,000 punches in a fight a few times? He's not on steroids.

There are fights where combined totals hit 3000 punches...Daniel Zaragoza vs Wayne McCullough, for example. McCullough regularly topped 1000. No one less resembles a steroid user than him.

bunky01, the reason why Pac was able to throw that many punches was because Clottey put up a shell and covered up the entire fight. It's easy to throw that many punches when your opponent practically stands in front of you and refuses to engage in anything meaningful. Remember Pacquiao is a naturally aggressive fighter and was basically hitting a human punching bag that night. It was the equivalent of a school yard bully beating down a fellow student prone in the fetal position.

And I know this is off-topic but both these guys disgust me for various reasons which I won't get into at the moment. I could care less if these two fight anymore. Truth is, this bout should have been made a couple of years ago when both were still in their prime.

^^
Im with you, I have lost almost all interest in boxing because of these 2. It has gone pathetic.
I have more hate towards Mayweather because I have no idea how you just lay claims without any evidence and his fans believing it. (any maybe because I am half filipino as well, so my tolerance for pac is slightly more.)

lol Mayweather,

He needs to make all the excuses because he knows Pacman of all fighters can beat him.

He's being greedy with the money when he knows damn well that ppl aren't going to watch the fight just for Floyd.

Pacman has already agreed to the testing they proposed, which i might add is above and beyond what they already test them.

"i care about my family".........in other news floyd's going to prison for beating his gf.

This fight should have already happened and if/when this fight happens i'll watch it, but it'll be half the fight it should have been. And truthfully and honestly i hope Pacman wins so all Mayweathers blind followers can STFU. Mayweather is the only person holding this fight back, and its cause he's scared.

I became instantly fishy of Pacman's camp when they started coming out with all these excuses as to why he didn't want random blood testing upto two weeks of the fight

In particular one of the exuses was he has a needle phobia ....

People covered in tattooes don't have needle phobias

Say what you will about Mayweather's dodging, but there is somthing most definitely fishy about Pacquiao.

I would be suprised in the least if it turned out he was juicing

I used to think Mayweather was scared of Pac-man but now I don't think so. I think after watching Pac-man struggle with Marquez he sees something in Pac-man he can take advantage of.

They both showed a major weakness in their most recent fights that the other can take advantage of. Pacquiao showed he was susceptible to Marquez's speed. Mayweather, on the other hand, can't afford to eat some of the shots that Cotto threw at him against Pacquiao or he can kiss his perfect record goodbye.

I find Mayweather and Pacquiao fanatics equally annoying. They can never take personal bias out of their arguments and rehash the same nonsensical trash over and over again.
