Martinez is too chicken to go up to 168.
Agree about Chavez jr. His best asset is that he's just to strong and big for most 160 lbers, at smw Ward would give him a lesson.
Golovkin is too slow to get to Ward. He'd cruise to a boring ud

Not that long. Bradley and Alexander faced each other last year. Two guys considered at the top of the 140 pound division and Alexander was the one that crapped out.

It's not really in Ward's forte to be a finisher. While the outcome would have been the same(Ward winning that is), I don't think he would have won via TKO against Dawson if the fight was held at 175. Dawson looked physically drained. Dawson is a guy that can take a punch, and he went down against someone that really isn't known to have a lot of power. A lot of that had to do with him being weakened fighting at a lower weight class. Still though, this doesn't take anything away from Ward's win tonight. He took away Dawson's strengths and kept attacking him.

I'd like to see Ward move up to 175. Fights against Pascal and Cloud would be interesting to watch.

Dawson moving down in weight is what hurt him most IMO

He was eating left hands all night and looked very lethargic

Was hoping Ward would've let his hands go after hurting Dawson in the 3rd round

It was a crappy fight where Bradley didn't prove anything, it just proved that Alexander is a chump... and both aren't the talent that Dawson and Ward are. You can't compare their resumes, both of those fighters cherry picked their opponents. Between both of them, they didn't have one good win compared to the W's that Dawson and WArd have...Adamek,Hopkins,Froch,Kessler,Abraham, etc...

Ugh...I had a party to attend. I hate that I missed this since I love Ward.

Hey I agree with what you're saying about Bradley and Alexander. I'm just stating that it really hasn't been that long since two guys at the very top of their divisions have fought each other. That fight was a match up that had boxing fans salivating. Bradley and Alexander were two upcoming Americans at the top of the junior welter division rankings. Sadly the outcome was a dud.
