Man, just caught the main event...Franklin looked really sloppy. He did the same thing like 10 secs earlier... dropping his left hand to his waist when he threw a kick, with his chin in the **** air.

Edit: yeah, watch at 3:25...he does the exact same kick and also drops that left...Cung saw it there too and barely missed the counter...
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I love that fight. Either Munoz, Stann or Lombard/Palhares winner makes sense for Cung at this time.

I didn't see every fight on this event, but I enjoyed what I saw for the most part.

I toyed with the idea of changing my pick in the Danzig-Gomi fight, and unfortunately didn't, nor did I even drop Danzig from the 6 spot I had him in. Was a close fight that I actually thought Danzig won (though it was more because I thought he would be rewarded for takedowns that ultimately went nowhere), but nice to see Gomi isn't completely washed up just yet. What did everyone else think of this fight? I came on kind of expecting to see some robbery talk, but unless I missed it, the fight hasn't even been mentioned.

Really enjoyed seeing Kim dominate his fight. I would have had it 10-8, 10-9, 10-8 for a 30-25 scorecard, and was disappointed to hear the 30-26 scorecards. Maybe I was overdoing it with the 2 10-8s, but aside from Thiago's kimura attempt early in the 2nd, it seemed like Kim had him in a dominant position about 90% of the time, which is good enough for a 10-8 from me, even if a finish never seemed really close. Would have no problems with a Maia rematch, and actually think it makes even more sense now than it did when they first met.

Nedkov vs. Silva was fun at times and kinda boring at others. Thought Nedkov was doing really well til he fell apart in round 3 and seemingly allowed himself to be finished. Kinda hard to think of good matchups for these two guys. Nedkov vs. Maldonado maybe? Prado? Silva vs. the winner of one of the upcoming LHW fights that doesn't result in a title shot? Or maybe Phil Davis?

Was shocked by the main event. Crazy knockout. That will be up there for KO of the year. That being said, I'm not sure I'd go throwing Cung Le in there with a guy on the Stann/Munoz/Lombard level. Those fights could get very ugly very quickly, and all of those guys are just unquestionably better than Le and would take the fight easily if they fought smart. Leben makes a bit more sense, because at least there's the chance that Le could pick him apart. If Robbie Lawler is brought to the UFC, that could be another fun one. Or another Strikeforce guy coming over that they want to put in a big fight. Jacare, Rockhold, Kennedy? Maybe even the loser of Bisping/Belfort, even though they are still a tier above Le.

Franklin, on the other hand, needs to get back to 195 or 205, have a big money fight or two, and call it a career. Coming up kind of short on names, though Shogun could be a possibility if he looks less than impressive against Gus.

No, no. Cung did not look that athletic or sound. He needs to stick to 'super fights' with old timers, don't fight these young guys for contention.

Yup.
The guy is 40 and looked out of shape.

Tito knocked out Bader for godsake, anyone can get lucky any night. Not saying it was lucky, just lets not line him up for a title fight or anything.

Cung needs to stay fighting name fights. The Franklins/Titos/W.Silva etcs who are at the tail end of their careers and fighting for legacy points and names.

All that said, I could see the Leban fight though. That would be pretty fun, and one where Cung could show off some kicks without worrying about a takedown...I just don't know if he has anything left in the tank. The last few times he came in, he looked in badddd shape.

I was worried about Rich coming back to 185 and mucking things up with some of the fresh blood that's near the top. I had no interest in seeing Silva stomp him agian.

I liked this card a lot... some good prelims action, the crowd was so into it. Big, big fan of the early Saturday morning start too. More non-PPV Asia cards, please.
