Shogun vs. Rashad is a fight I've always wanted to see, though now might not be the best time for it.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Shogun vs. Hendo II actually. Hendo losing takes him out of the title hunt and puts him on the retirement tour. A rematch of what some call the best fight ever would be a good place to start.

As much as I love Shogun, I wouldn't mind seeing him retire. I don't want him to go the Wand route.

Yeah, damn, I forgot about Neer-McGee. That second round was the round of the night for sure. I don't even understand how Neer did it. The comeback was awesome. Pressure and angles.

Neer has had a tough go of it lately. After losing to Court McGee at UFC 157 by Unanimous Decision, his third straight loss in the UFC, it was suspected that he may be cut. The Cesar Gracie fighter will now have to step back and refocus and work his way back to the UFC.

The other fighters released are Caros Fodor (7-3), Brock Jardine (9-3), and Jon Manley (7-2). All four fighters last fought at UFC 157, and all suffered a loss.

3 in a row...that's rough, but he always brings it, man. This is a shame. He's not rewarded for leaving it all out htere. That was one of the rounds of the year. He got smashed that first but managed to push - of all people - Court McGee (at 170) back for most of the second. Had him on his bike.
