Ideally we would, but it's probably asking too much from the fighters, and realistically we get nightmares like Royce Gracie vs Ken Shamrock 2 so fans wouldn't go for it.

Also, I missed this, but was this more about Rashad looking good, or Hendo looking bad? I've always been a fan of Rashad, and was super impressed with him Vs. Phil Davis, but was severely disappointed in him in the Jones and Nogueira fights.

Wouldn't increasing the break time between rounds hasten the adrenaline dump?

(inquisitive tone, not an "agree with me" tone)

I'm with you on this.

I was always in the Rashad is overrated for knocking out Chuck camp. Then he impressed the hell out of me against Phil Davis. He did what he wanted that fight, honestly kind of embarrassed a very good young fighter in Phil. To me he hasn't really looked good since though. Nogueira fight was putrid. Didn't see this one though.

I think that Rashad Evans is an extremely talented fighter who under performs in most of his fights. I don't know what to think of the guy. I view him now the same way I viewed Lebron after the Dallas series.

As far as rounds go, how do you guys feel about a 10 minute first round, like PRIDE had? Fighters shouldn't gas in the first 10 minutes, and that way if a wrestler takes a guy down after four minutes, he has six minutes to do some damage on the ground. It seems like a good middle ground between what we have now and a "real" fight.

LHW at the top level is boring as **** now. Dominant champion, has-been contenders trading wins and losses. These fights mean very little and no pecking order is established, and even worse, since they're so evenly matched, the fights tend to be awful decisions. It's musical chairs. Bones needs to vacate and move up. It used to be my favourite division, but it sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks now.
