Haha, I also thought he was Canadian a while back. There must be something tangible to that perception. I thought it after seeing him in a UFC special. Maybe he was up there specially, or training there at the time.
I don't give a crap where he's from FTR. He's a beast. I think one way or another, he wins a championship b4 it's all said and done. Whether that be from Barao moving up, him moving up, improving, etc. He's still so young. And he was a legit challenger for Barao the first time around. That was a competitive, high-level title fight, until McDonald got subbed.
