You're not kidding. His corner shouting him encouragement as he finishes his pre-fight...interval work-out.

McGregor just has such great range and his striking is down the pipe, precise. One could almost say that his precision is so precise.

Does anyone know what his reach is? Aldo's is listed at 70 inches but I don't see Conor's anywhere.

Reach 'from the armpit to the fist' doesn't even tell the story, though. His stance is super perpendicular and his shoulders very wide, both of which combine for even more reach. Someone walking forward in a squared-up MT stance loses what he gains. Their face is closer to the end of their fist, essentially, where he's turned all of his shoulder and his upper back between his fist / face. You actually don't need to be nearly as diverse in techniques when you have that base...you don't have to do as much. He only uses a handful of techniques but very well...he finds the space for that straight left so **** well.

I watched the three main fights, plus a bit of the Parke fight on 2x speed. Pretty good stuff.

McCall vs. Pickett was pretty entertaining. Sounds like they are going to do McCall vs. Lineker for a title shot. Makes sense, just please put it somewhere people can see it.

Cummings gave Gunnar more problems than I thought he would. Was starting to worry he might lose a Machida style decision, where he's actually landing the better shots and not taking much damage, but the other guy looks way more active. Once he got the chance to take it to the ground, he did work though. I saw something about Gunnar vs. Rory on MMA Junkie, which seems like a terrible idea. I like the idea of a Story, Erick Silva, Mike Pyle level fight for him next. Could even just set up the fight with LaFlare again. As for Cummings, next up for him is the #1 spot on CBR's next top 10 hottest dudes in MMA countdown.

McGregor looked great. Really looking forward to his next fight. Poirer would be a good choice, if that is in fact the fight they are looking to make. He will be fighting for a title within his next 3 fights, even if it is a bit rushed. Might even be able to get there with one more dominant performance. The UFC does not do the slow build anymore. Striking while the iron is hot has its merits, but I think sometimes they sacrifice what a fight could be in order to cash in on what it is right now. But that's another conversation I guess.

Conor has a reach of 72 inches. It is funny that the UFC today listed Conor at 5 foot 11 which is a joke. Conor is 5 foot 8.5 inches tall. Looks like we might get Poirier vs. Conor next at UFC 178.
