The exact guy they would throw him to, Will Brooks.

Bellator needs draws, he'd brought to Bellator to get eyes onto Will Brooks.

What proof is there that Nate Diaz is any kind of draw at all? There are plenty of guys right now that I think are bigger draws. Pettis, Aldo, Edgar, Connor, Hendricks, Lawler, Anderson, Nick Diaz, Weidman, Vitor, Dan Henderson, Jones, Cormier, Gustafsson, Cain, Junior...

You are right in the sense that Bellator could probably use him, as Brooks is a world class Lightweight they have no challengers for. I think he will find out exactly what Rampage did, that the grass isn't always greener in the smaller org.

Nate isn't the fighter Nick is but people are fans of Nick and they aren't fans of Nate, they are fans of "The Diaz Brothers". Nate definitely "moves the needle" in terms of being a draw, even if his fighting ability doesn't measure up.

Nate is a quality fighter, and he's come back before. After his loss to Rory people said that he wasn't any good but then he submitted Gomi, dominated Cowboy setting a record for most strikes landed, and became the first person to finish Jim Miller.

He's only 29 and he's not done.

I'm not saying he's a bad fighter. But he isn't championship caliber in a division like lightweight and he never has been. Benson gave him the beatdown of a lifetime. He's lost over a third of his fights and 3 of his last 4 with his one win in the last 2.5 years being over Gray Maynard with a shot chin.

You couldn't name 20 fighters who draw better than he does. He's headlined a bunch of cards and has been on the top 4 fights on the Fox cards. He's one of the few TUF winners to still be relevant and he's outspoken which gets his name out there.

RDA just kicked his butt and he's not even in the UFC video game after the latest updates. He's exactly the type of guy that Belator would pay for.

He's borderline top 5 though considering Cerrone is #5 in the world currently and the domination Diaz put on him.

I wonder what his injury was heading into that fight. He clearly didn't look 100%.

Nate couldn't see out of 1 eye against Benson. If he had his vision he still would have lost but at least he wouldn't have been swinging against air.

As for him losing 3 out of 4, so has Carlos Condit.

Nate will never win a UFC belt but neither will his brother, or a lot of highly skilled fighters.

If he fights in Bellator, it will be the first Bellator event I watch in over a year. I don't follow Bellator but I'd have to think that he'd at least be competitive over there.

I hate this argument. You say he couldn't see out of one eye, I say Benson knocked his @ss blind.

Your argument is correct, mine is correct and gives us more context.

Nice win by RDA. I scored it for Miocic in the main event.

I think RDA should get Pettis next. Khabib is on the shelf for a bit with an injury. Bendo/Alvarez is coming up, if Cerrone gets by Jury, I'd like to see him fight Gil.

He'd be competitive overall, but not in certain fights, and how could you have previously said he'd dominate without watching the Bellator product? In addition to Brooks and Chandler being the exact type of well-rounded, good athletes who typically dominate him, not vice versa, they are better fighters than him. He'd be marketable in Bellator as a big mouth Diaz who is a pretty good fighter, but unless his manager Mike Kogan used his new powers as Bellator matchmaker to pave the road with gold for Nate, he'd be competing for silvers at best.

I scored it for JDS. He took a beating in the first 2 rounds but neither rounds were 10-8 beatdowns. Then I thought JDS took over in the next 3 rounds. JDS face looked bad but he fought like he was the fresher guy, with more activity and movement. At worst, it's a draw.

Regardless, I was not impressed with JDS' performance at all. After all that time off, i thought he'd come back better and improved but he looked like a lesser JDS with the exact same fighting style. From his defensive abilities to his game planning, nothing about him looked improved.

Yes. If Pettis can fight, then get him back in the catch ASAP.

Finally saw Cejudo's fight. His boxing looked good - but was it largely Kimura not performing?

I remember reading a breakdown on his fights with Cain and one of his fatal flaws was how he runs straight backwards with his hands down, and he still does it. And he still got tagged a bunch of times doing so.

He circles off the cage with his hands down like no other. I've read people say he circles into power but I haven't seen that as much, at least not against Stipe.

He circles to his right with his lead hand down a lot, and I think that's totally sound. He rolls off all the looping rights that come his way. Bernard Hopkins does the exact same thing, it's a crafty vet move.

Maybe he does it straight back too, I don't remember the specs of the Cain fights.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
