Yeah, and I'd take Cub Swanson over Edgar as well.

^^ dummy (didn't watch, but still).

It was an early stoppage, very little punishment.

I hadn't noticed it when watching but they made a big deal on the Fight Comp about Lim being tired. Whatever. I'd still take Lim if they fought again in a month.

I know green font, but I still don't get where you're going with that.

That you're underrating Edgar. He's one of the greatest fighters of all time, and you're picking a guy whose grappling hasn't been tested in the UFC, with 2 submission losses to beat him? Maybe you're just overrating Conor. Dan Hardy, Edson Barboza, Michael McDonald, Brian Bowles, ect. all received hype. For some reason people tend to buy into a striker whose grappling hasn't been tested. I think that Conor vs. Edgar looks exactly like Edgar vs. Swanson.

I don't even like Conor, but he's huge. He's probably good sized for a LW. Edgar had a lot harder time taking down LWs. Although as I said I would like to see Conor's TD tested, it's not hard to imagine him stopping a lot of them by size and strength, and getting up quickly when he is taken down. But I would absolutely love to be wrong (Though I'd prefer if Aldo wrecked him instead/first).

So you don't object to favoring Mendes over him?

This sounds crazy, and I favor Aldo, but Jose may be Conor's best chance to get a win in the top 3-4 best featherweights.

Not at all. Mendes is a very good fighter. Conor may be big, but he's not bigger than Benson Henderson or Gray Maynard.

I agree. It's the striking distance. Aldo's team are really good (though, also apparently totally clueless when it comes to weight cutting /// Barao vs TJ), they're going to have him training at Conor's range. But it might not be enough time. Aldo's famous for like the leg kicks and the lead liver punch + slamming right leg kick. And for being able to move his head in the pocket (like against Hominick). There's no way Conor's going to be in that range. A lead liver punch? Not a chance.

It's going to demand a different Jose.
