100% certain that the Gabi fight was the least skill I've ever seen displayed in any mma fight, male or female. I've seen more technical affairs on youtube.

Whole Fedor fight for those interested: here

I assume it's a legal link since it's MMAfighting.

I was amused enough to see that Bob Sapp was still fighting. Then I became far more interested in his opponent: a 46-year-old, 450+lb, former sumo and current pro wrestler named "Akebono" (born Chad), who is now 1-13 as a professional fighter. That includes kickboxing and MMA, in which he has quality losses to Don Frye and Royce Gracie. Sapp was actually his first professional opponent back in 2003 and he was retired for 9 years before this highly anticipated rematch. He was also KO'd in back-to-back-to-back kickboxing matches with the 7'2 Choi Hong-man (best known to me as the guy who beat up Jose Conseco), but he lasted a little bit longer each time.

And for a bonus fun fact: His one victory was against Nobuaki Kakuda, who has wins against Baboo Da Silva and a mysterious German simply named "Mavrick." I just really liked those names. :dontknow:

And now you're telling me this card featured a giantess, too? Only Japan could dream up something like this.

Can't believe this dude hitchhikered out of a fully extended Kron armbar, Kron stays on it and the guy rolls back and eventually escapes. He got a few reversals but what does Kron care when his guard is so good.

I'm loving these long first rounds, you guys know that.

On a card with a lot of bums, I thought both these guys showed a lot of promise. Kron we expected it from, but Yamamoto showed some heart and skills.

I like the long first round as well.

Isn't the other guy a well-credentialed wrestler?

It would be pretty cool if Fedor got to avenge his losses against the PED users who beat him (Hendo/Bigfoot). Only problem is that since Fedor isn't signing with the ufc, those fights would have to happen in Japan which would means more PED use.

weird that Gabi has such huge, defined quads but no ass. sorta combined with the huge biceps and no back development. show muscles, easy to contract in isolation.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Kakuda is also known for being the shortest fighter in K-1 openweight and wearing a gi with cut off sleeves, which made him look sillier than being a short 40+ year old kickboxer already does. He's absolutely terrible in K-1 video games and supposedly real life too.

I don't think I have ever watched any K-1 outside of some Cro Cop and Overeem highlights. I need to make a point to watch an event one day.

K-1 was awesome back then with guys like Cro Cop, Ernesto Hoost, Mark Hunt, Remy Bonjasky, Peter Aerts, Badr Hari, Jerome Le Banner, Semmy Schilt, Francois Botha etc.
