Good thing he's making that big strong adult man money, thanks to the $5,000 Reebok payout for headlining and effectively saving a card. I, acting as his representative, could have made him more than $5K in sponsorships the morning of the fight and I'm generally useless/have no idea what I'm doing, plus I'd probably take a bunch of breaks and **** around on the internet between calls. $5,001+ in privately procured sponsorships for headlining a UFC event on FS1, right? Doesn't seem difficult to attain at all.

FYI, Reebok payout for this event was $140K with Nelson, Pyle, Benavides, and Hendricks maxing out at $15K.

Also, don't know if anyone saw it, but Roy's kid is the cutest thing on the planet and they stole the show with his kid wearing a shirt for one of Roy's sponsors. I'm loving these creative workarounds.

UFC getting rorted so hard with that Reebok deal. I do believe it when Dana says most of the money is going to the fighters, but it doesn't mean much when there isn't much money to begin with.

It's not though, or at least, they're not adjusting figures to suck up all funds available to fighters... I'll try to dig up a specific link when I get back. The deal was for $12M annually, and IIRC, they only paid out $8-9M in 2015.

If I had enough money, I might start betting on the underdog in every UFC fight. It seems like underdogs win just as much as favorites.

So, 3.2M since July is ~$6-7M over 12 months. Lots of administration costs, I bet.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe part of that 6yr~$70m deal includes money going to fighters with exclusive deals. So $7m over 12mths means about 4-5m to the Connors, Rouseys and Paiges (can't remember who else.) Then you have to take into account rising payouts with increased fighter count and individual fighter fight count. Doesn't seem too far apart. Do correct me if I'm incorrect though

I'm not sure if that was ever clarified.

Guys, you're not considering the secret locker room Reebok bonuses.

That was my understanding of the deal from my various reading of the details from different sources but I could have confused some of the details so I may be wrong.

Also let's not rule out increasing the pay for each tier in the coming years to reach that $70m over 6 figure.

Can't recall a more one-sided ME in recent memory. Jeez. Just a denuding. You'd wonder how it was sanctioned if JH weren't an ex-champ.

JH just looked lost.
I'm not sure if he was injured, demoralized, or got rocked and was on cloud 9 for awhile but he looked awful.

I mean, the last main event was Rumble vs. Bader. That seemed like a severe denuding. RDA vs. Cowboy and Holm vs. Rousey, too. I heard PVZ got extensively denuded by Rose, but I didn't see the fight.

I think never getting the opportunity to get into a rhythm and getting tagged from everywhere made him look the way he did.

Finally watched the fight. No surprise there Wonderboy is something else once he stopped the takedown I knew he had Hendricks beat.

Valid points. This wasn't just a beating or a psych-out, though, he put on a clinic. Slapping Johnny in the face with his foot from the pocket. Looked unfair.

And I feel like he could have done that for another 4.5 rounds.

I feel ya. I really just wanted to saying denuding a couple of times. Thanks for that.
