Interesting... does UFC have an office in California?

Just not sure how California would be relevant as they're HQ'd in Nevada and I'm guessing all contractor paperwork goes through that office?

I don't think it matters, I think they could have filed in any state they wanted.

I don't legally, but that's pretty scummy (if true).

Another lawsuit, with Kyle Kingsbury and Darren Uyenoyama.

Worth noting, as the UFC tries to have the venue moved from San Jose, California to Las Vegas, Nevada, is that Uyenoyama is a resident of San Francisco and Kingsbury is a resident of Sunnyvale, California, which is located in the Bay Area

Counsel for the plaintiffs have filed a motion to consolidate these complaints and a hearing has been scheduled for June 11.

That's gotta be like a dozen total fighters in on this now, right? Kingsbu, Uyenoyama, Cung, Fitch, Quarry, Garza, Vera, Danzig, Vasquez off the top of my head, I feel like I'm missing a few though.

That article says it's 5 lawsuits with 11 fighters. I think you missed Hallman, and one more?

Sounds like there's a hearing June 11th on whether to combine the lawsuits. So we got have a long ways to go, if the UFC wants to fight in court this could take years.

I just can't see the ufc letting this get far enough to have to open their books to the public. One way or another.

But by the time they have hearings to determine whether the lawsuits should be combined, hearings whether the state should be moved from Cali to NE, etc. etc. This is going to take a looong time.

UFC wins appeal to move this lawsuit to Nevada.

Does that pretty much end it, then?

From what I've heard it seems the case going to an actual trial decision was always not the most likely outcome, and the question was what they fighters might get in a settlement. And for us onlookers, if they can force the UFC's books open. Can't be a good sign for the people suing however.

Still going. Fact discovery issues over White’s phones to be heard Thursday

I'm not sure what's all happening with this, but I hope we get a look at the UFC's financials.

Judge orders UFC hand over fighter pay documents

I'm not sure what all they're getting (or what the public will be able to see) but this could be interesting.

According to some lawyer Luke Thomas retweeted, Bellator has been ordered to turn over a randomized 20% of their contracts and the trial (if it happens) is being scheduled for late 2018/early 2019.
