The main fight should be around 10:45-11 but the card starts at 6pm (preliminary) and 8pm (PPV start).

Canelo because boxing is rigged and Vegas wants to protect one of their only draws left in boxing. He's going to get all the close rounds and win a decision 7-5 or something like that. People are gonna disagree and demand a rematch. More $$$.

Good viewpoint... although I disagree.
I got canelo 7-5 decision but just like you said it'll be close. Might be one of those fights where you could feel like either guy one.

I hope the fight ends with closure though.... I don't want any rematches to happen or anything. For some reason I don't really like rematches in boxing unless it's due to improper judging.

Come on...Ali/Frazier? Leonard/Duran? Boxing at the elite level is all about rematches!
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Mexican fighters always draw and ggg can get a lot of their fans with an impressive knockout. The problem is these guys dont speak English

That and boxing has lost a lot of interest over the years by boxers avoiding each other until the "right time" as Canelo believes he is doing now and how Mayweather did his entire career, waiting until fighters lost a step or were too young/inexperienced. Instead you have them loading up empty Ws on nobodies and there also isn't unified belts so you have a WBC, WBO etc champ with a ton weight classes which makes it confusing and hard for the casual fan to keep up with what's happening.

So...

- too many different divisions
- too many different weight classes
- fighters ducking each other
- thin fight cards (usually just the main bout that's of any interest)

= poor fan engagement

They're trying to start winning some people back by putting on a big fight just after McGregor but some eyes back over to the boxing world but they need to build up the new names quickly. Most casual fans only know the names of Mayweather, Pacquiao....they need to be introduced to the new breed of Spence Jr, Lomachenko etc now! Especially when both of them are actually going have monster fights coming up yet people don't even realize it, now those 2 are actually going to fight the best fighters at the top of the game now! Rigo and Thurman are beasts....not to mention they need to promote the hell outta Joshua now that he beat Klitschko, Fury and the Bronx bomber would be massive fights....if they market them properly and actually do the damn fights.

Yeah boxing is rigged, there's no way this was a draw, GGG outlanded Canelo by far.

That is crazy. At best, maybe you can make an argument for a draw. I had GGG winning by one round. Canelo came back the last 3, imo, to make it close.

That fight was not a draw. It certainly looked like it was going that way after the first half of the fight, but I only had Canelo winning one round (11th) in the second half of the fight.

I had it 116-112 for GGG. Canelo was on his bicycle the entire night. I don't want to see a rematch, it's pointless.
