Cormier
Ngannou
JDS
Overeem
Werdum
Arloski
Hunt
Roy Nelson
Gonzga

Losses to JDS and Struve (that's ugly).

That list though...if he can add Cain to it, he's beat every relevant HW alive.

Cain was Stipe with better cardio, just look at his run where he beat JDS, and Bigfoot. And JDS again. And Bigfoot again.
Probably but Stipe's resume is just better

It is supposedly just for one more match. So I doubt this changes his plans to return to the UFC.

Holly Holm vs. Megan Anderson announced. The first women's 145 non title fight, I think?

225 is looking like one pretty deep card.

Romero vs Whittaker
Colby vs RDA
Holm vs Anderson
Overeem vs Blaydes
Arlovski vs Tai
Pettis vs Benavidez
Gadelha vs Esparza

That's 7 legit fights right there. Probably won't draw a ton of PPVs but those are some legit match ups.

Apparently Leslie Smith's opponent missed weight, Smith declined the fight, the UFC paid Smith her show and win money, but they declined to extend her contract (and the last on her contract).

This is not surprising. She is trying to organize fighters, plus the UFC doesn't like it when fighters don't take fights when their opponents miss weight.

Just another example of the fighter who MAKES WEIGHT being punished for the actions of the fighter who misses weight. End of the day it doesn't even matter what the weight discrepancy is, one fighter showed up on weight and honored the contrast and the other didn't. Guessing the fighter who missed weight will get another fight in the promotion.

Derrick Lewis vs Ngannou and Max vs Ortega both added to UFC 226. If they all can stay healthy, that card should be a blast.

The UFC was going to let her go no matter what it sounds like (so that's why she just took the money, she was trying to get her contract extended before accepting the fight). She told Luke Thomas that she had called the UFC and told them the California labor board (or something) had told her the UFC had to pay the luggage fee for their flight and 6 days of per diem instead of 5 (they get $60 a day during fight week). The UFC doesn't like people who try to hold them to the really minor parts of the contracts that are good for the fighters I guess. She was making 30k/30k (win bonus) which seems like a alot for someone relatively unknown like her, but I'm guessing she negotiated that prior to the Cyborg fight.

Specifically she's trying to get enough fighters to sign cards so they can see if they can get classified as employees. Which I think they have a very good chance to be if it gets to court and that'd be a game changer.

Oh my God, that looks like one of the best cards ever.

: Miocic-Cormier in a super-fight. They'll challenge each other wherever the fight goes.
: Holloway-TCity is the co-main. The CO-MAIN. That would befit being atop any card.
: Lewis-Ngannou projects to be a slobberknocker. Every shot for a while could finish the bout and there's bad blood.
: Medeiros won't try to play the distance game against Platinum and both search for the finish standing or ground constantly.
: Beefcake Costa is back in vs. Hall. So much explosiveness and weapons.
: Gokhan Saki is back to see where this goes, and is facing a guy w/ a lot of raw potential in Roundtree.
: Assuncao is high-level, Font looked really good last fight, and won't allow him to point-fight.

This is a card to show a sport's fan you are first trying to introduce to MMA.

I think this last year or so of UFC has been the best in its history in terms of action fights.

I didn't know about the Costa vs Hall matchup. I'm always down to watch Saki just to watch the dude kick haha. Here is to hoping this card doesn't fall apart from injuries because this is a legit great card.

Medeiros might be the least athletic person on the roster. It's hideous. Hide your eyes.

No knees "Dad Bod" Dan Kelly level unathleticism? Jake Shields level unathleticism?

Both of those men are at least 99th percentile of athleticism in one or two dimensions (hips and wrestling leverage). Medeiros moves like a gangly teenager.
