An all-time great KO highlight from Machida. Holy ****. With the reaction afterwards. Oh ****! That was incredible. Closing into range for that thing, suckering Vitor, turning the chin laterally even. He had his hands on his hips before Vitor had even finished crumpling!
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

“PS: Both us and our coaches agree with the decision made to go into the 5th round,” Torres wrote on social media. “We know Raquel more than anyone else and know if we let her give up on herself going into the last round she would have always regretted it. She fought with heart and grit until the end.”

Isn't that the corner's job? To protect the fighters from themselves?

In boxing maybe. In MMA their job is to yell how good their fighter is doing so as to influence the judges.

Machida called out Bisping, I would be interested in that fight.

MW matchups that I would like to see,

Machida vs Bisping

Brunson vs Gastelum

Rockhold vs Weidman 2

GSP vs Whittaker/Romero winner

100% Dern gave an extra final squeeze to that choke. What a POS.

Lowpoint of the event definitely Albini opting against sexy shorts.

Did you chime in on Raquel's corner situation yet? Would love to hear your perspective, as a boxing fan especially.

Times like these makes me wonder why they don't go for draws or why the sport doesn't consider majority decisions more like a tie. The idea of the competition, I thought, was to as safely as possible simulate who would win in a real fight, and secondarily see which fighting style is better. Encouraging point fighting goes in the opposite direction.

Predictably anticlimactic main event. Rocky isn't title fight caliber. Just making a title fight for the sake of it.
