Elkins is on a 6-fight win streak, can't even headline the Prelims? He's beaten some B+ fighter in that run too.

Elkins is a big underdog to his opponent Alex Volkanovski.

I feel like JDS should have retired 5 years ago, and I feel the same way about Shogun. I can’t believe they’re headlining the next 2 cards and I hope they don’t take too many shots to the head.

I think Lesnar would squash him, but I'd watch.

It doesn't matter how it would go or if it makes sense....Mendes has paid his dues and DESERVES a shot at Lesnard.

Glenn was smoother than in any of his other UFC appearances. Moving his feet enough so Bermudez would be out on the end of his punches, throwing one at a time, setting up the high kick. TDD was poor but used butterfly to push off and put Bermudez on defensive. Thought judges got it right in the end and didn't just give it to Bermudez for a few cheap td's.

Volkanovski gas tank is incredible for a guy who has a stocky build and throws so much power. His pressure is suffocating but controlled, he has good combos, and is well-rounded. That's a guy who could win a belt.

Mendes is a perennial contender but a guy that will probably never break through. He should move down if he wants to be relevant on that.

Blagoi-JDS went about how I expected. Blagoi was competitive but JDS led the dance with length, footwork, and straights. Blagoi timed some but couldn't put combos together like he needed. Should have attempted some td's and clinch. Tough debut opponent. Glad he got his story told.

Sage is crazy fast and didn't look like a total fish of water on the ground anymore. Solid guard retention and some sub threat. Tactically aloof guy. More aware in the gym to improve than in cage. But I think he can be in the mix at 170.

That flurry from Barcelos was absolutely crazy. Closed distance in a flash and one bolo punch after another. Over-due UFC career. Saw him in RFA and he's legit.

I was happy to see Rick get the nod and thought the judging was good. Obviously a very close decision that I thought was going to go against him but I personally don't score TDs where the guy gets back up right away and the guy doing the takedowns didn't do anything with it.

I have no idea why Ottow kept trying to mount. He was dominating the grappling exchanges when it came to top half and side control. Sage didn't really pummel for underhooks or bridge or do much of anything I would have expected him to. But Ottow mounted 2-3 times and didn't spend more than 2 total seconds from that position because Sage would escape IMMEDIATELY and that's when he got back to his foot and started hurting Ottow. I didn't understand the gameplan.

Every once in a while theres an event thay makes me wonder why this is a sport. Why are we watching striking matches from grapplers and part-time strikers?

Jake Shields thinks Rick Glenn's striking could use some fluidity. You got knees and a pelvis, son, sink into your lower body.

LOL of course of the 300 terrible strikers on the UFC roster, you attack Rick Glenn.

And I take the bait yet again LOL.

You and Slick Rick boys?

Sorry, let me re-iterate what I said during the Nunes vs Pennington / Jacare vs Gastelum weekend, when people were tuning in for that UFC but not watching Loma vs Linares: this sport is dumb.

Next PPV: Joe Schilling and Melvin Manhoef re-match, [i]all grappling[/]. Let's see guys those kickboxers fumble around in guard like virgins at a Sadie Hawkins after-party.

Okay my bad if you legitimately didn't know that. But yes, Rick and I were teammates for years, up until he moved to TAM. Great, great dude.

For some reason I just assume you guys read my posts. Kind of presumptuous I guess.
