The gymnastics after the KO were mindboggling too. It's not hard to see why a clean overhand from that dude is going to scramble your brain.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Realistically that won't be many cells lost. The symptoms can be from temporary insufficient blood flow of the brain to repair the damage immediately. He should recover with a little time elapsed to get the flow back, with only minor long-term damage suffered. It's those series of blows while your brain is already damaged that changes careers and lives. Maybe some vicious head kick with a long lever and speed to the right spot like Cro Cop delivered to Wand. But I think Vick will be fine, relatively speaking.

Maybe, maybe not. He reportedly had a very difficult weight cut for this one (not hard to imagine given that he may be the tallest lightweight on the roster). That dehydration certainly won't help him any.

I’m surprised that no one in the media ever calls out James Vick for still training under Lloyd Irvin... the fans of the sport let him know about it all the time it seems. You’d think the media would pick up on it too.... Rather than choose to ignore it...

Also Moraga costed me a huge payout. Had a big parlay there that I just missed out on, not that anyone cares. never bet against the favourite when he’s a fighter you just don’t know about. Anyone else hear of him before this? He was impressive too. Heard he’s a BJJ guy but I was far more impressed with his stand up, considering it was all he showed me in the fight. Could be a real contender though.

Vick didn't factor in his own defense. Upright, inviting target. He didn't make it deep into that fight otherwise he'd have probably been right.

Gaethje doesn't talk good. He expresses himself physically. It's like a ballet down to the celebration.

That's super uncalled for. Doing finger pistols at him and jawing after the KO was one thing, Gaethje had enough adrenaline to re-start a T-Rex. But this is in the light of day. The man's health and ability to provide is in shambles. What more do you want?

I'm too lazy to look up the video clip but there is an interview where he was asked about Vick and he basically said he's long but doesn't use his length effectively. That eventually Gaethje would get him against the cage and it'd be light out at that point. Pretty much a Mystic Mac moment for JG.
