End Of Year Awards

Post#1 » by Cammo101 » Thu Nov 29, 2018 11:48 pm

I brought this up in advance last year and it seemed to help with nominees falling through the cracks. So here we are again. If you think someone or something should be included in one of the categories, just toss it out there. I can't promise it will be chosen, but it will be considered. Here are the categories...

Fighter of the Year
Female Fighter of the Year
Fight of the Year
Knockout of the Year
Submission of the Year
Breakthrough Fighter of the Year
Biggest Upset
Comeback Fighter of the Year
Story of the Year
Referee of the Year

Also, if anyone has any cool ideas for other categories we could add, feel free to toss that out as well.

I feel like we don't need a Referee of the Year...

It could be the one backwards category. Worst ref of the year or worst ref performance of the year. Herb watching Dolloway die is the first nomination that comes to mind.

Yves Lavingne making Benavidez win twice tonight makes him a contender as well.

Yves probably just wanted to give him a preview for when he's fighting in a one night tournament somewhere in Asia this time next year.
