They sorta seem to have an opportunity, yeah. It's a 2-person sport and there needs to be like 20 other people total in the building.
Plus, Kevin Lee's walkout.

I assume any day now that it will be canceled. NY is now no longer allowing any gatherings of 500+ people. No way Dana gives up on the potential gate of a Khabib/Tony fight. So this thing is getting canceled. Crazy that 5 times now this fight has fallen apart.

Do fighters test for the seasonal flu or anything like that? I"m guessing if the fight is on, they would have to somehow be tested for coronavirus

It’ll get cancelled but man what a missed opportunity to have the only sporting event in the WORLD occur.
You have nearly 24 hr attention from content starved sports stations.
The amount of publicity would be astronomical, you could up the PPV cost to try and recoup some of the arena costs.
What an event it would be

I'm now in the boat where I think they should fight, even if there's only those two, a ref and one cornerman each. Boom

If they test the fighters before the weight cut I'm cool with it. Like right now.

Still takes up to 48hrs to get results I believe based on current testing. Maybe they need to test a day or two out and just self-isolate lol

This might be the first time I've heard of the UFC APEX. Looks like a sweet facility

Awesome! Good for them (also, good for us). The next month of events is basically behind doors?
Though, I mean, who is going to be sparring or training grappling? If you're just some undercard fighter, you can't isolate your camp. You gotta rely on sparring with work-a-day stiffs who are threats to bring in the virus.

EST, yes. Both on ESPN+ At least that's what I've seen but they've already done primaries.

UFC's Tyron Woodley-Leon Edwards main event won't happen
Even if you can hold events with no crowds (which is looking to be more debatable), they should just cancel this one. No venue, few fighters able, this is just trying to make a point.
After the UFC was forced to cancel the March 21 card in London and move it to a yet-to-be determined location in the United States, Edwards opted not to fly to America amid the spread of the coronavirus and the travel bans implemented by both the United States and the United Kingdom. With no guarantee where the event would take place and no guarantee that he'd be able to get back home next week, plus, with some of his cornermen not having the proper documentation to fly at this time, the call was made for Edwards to stay back home.
...
As of right this moment, Tyron Woodley's involvement on the card is still up in the air. The UFC insists on putting on this event next weekend, though they have yet to tell fighters where it will take place. Tribal lands in California and Alabama have been discussed, but nothing has been decided. If a promotion holds an event on a tribal land they don't have to adhere to the rules of a state commission, so it would, in theory, prove to be easier to put on the event.
The UFC is currently working on building a brand new card for next Saturday because the majority of the fighters scheduled to compete on the London card are based overseas and are unable to fly to America at this time.
Early Sunday morning, the UFC sent the following message to MMA managers and representatives:
"Because we are moving this event to the U.S. next weekend, there will be a number of open spots on that card. If you have anyone currently under UFC contract, from bantamweight to welterweight, who wants a short notice fight, please let me know. If you have any UFC vets or fighters ready for UFC on a week's notice, please let me know. DO NOT email me about anyone who is not a US CITIZEN or does not have A CURRENT P1 VISA."
Even if you can hold events with no crowds (which is looking to be more debatable), they should just cancel this one. No venue, few fighters able, this is just trying to make a point.

This is pretty funny from the outside looking in.
I feel bad for the fighters & corner people etc/ring girls not sure how they are going to pay their bills going forward.
UFC is scrambling like mad now.
