Can we sacrifice our hoarded toilet rolls and spaghetti for the Khabib v Ferguson bout please, Oh might MMA Gods?

Dana is doing all he can to not say that Khabib vs Tony is going to get canceled.

Just push it back to June with the hopes things calm down with the hot weather

I would exhaust every option before pushing it back. It's the #1 fight in MMA and there's nothing else going on. The UFC is never going to have a better opportunity to win over new fans. I wish it was on ESPN instead of PPV, though. PPVs and "social distancing" don't really jive.

Did anyone start a UFC 249 thread?

Dana White vows UFC 249 will happen as scheduled: ‘Do you want to bet against me?’
What's the line? I would certainly consider betting against him.

June 6th date is pushed back.
turns out it's because Shevchenko is injuried.

I think you call it a day on that bout. As much as I'm g'd up to watch it, it's probably cursed at that point
Cursed bout

It's such a huge advantage if your spouse is a fighter. They can spar, hold mitts, drill with you all the while you're in isolation. I'm thinking of Nunes and Rose, but possibly others.
Also, I'd bet someone like Cerrone will just pay sparring partners to isolate with him at his ranch.
But, like, can Uriah Hall do that? Finances + location + access to facilities seems to make a huge difference here.
Weidman was training in total isolation from non-family in his basement. No sparring, no coaches. What happens if he then has to walk into a ring with someone who has had the resources to seclude with fighters? I'd bet Jacare has those resources.

Bernman is volunteering to isolate with Pettis for the inverted triangle offense, specifically.

Jacare was saying he needs to fight to pay his mortgage. So, if you mean resources to pay other fighters to isolate with him, I'm not so sure.
If by resources you mean he's Brazilian, and at least according to social media, Brazilians don't give a sh*t about the pandemic and are the one and only group of people still training normally in huge groups lol then yea he should be all set.

Also, it's crazy that some of those fighters haven't even VERBALLY agreed to fight yet. Imagine having your name and matchup released to the world that you are fighting in 24 days at an undisclosed location in the middle of a pandemic and you haven't even verbally agreed. Let's just hope that none of them are going through what Rose is going through I guess.

"Do you want to be on a f*cking ventilator?"

I mean resources pretty loosely. If you're in Long Island, you're in the middle of a sh**storm and would be a real psycho to bring your buddies over to train.
Jacare - c. 2 weeks ago - seemed to be training in his garage with a tight-knit group of coaches and teammates. In LA or Brazil, it looked like. No one can do that in NY area, I don't think.
I would just feel really bad about someone like Weidman's relative position in terms of training possibilities. He's in total lockdown in a suburban house. Cerrone, surely, is not.
